"Would you care to explain why you started acting so weird?" I demanded stopping in front the haunted mansion ride.

"No not really now come on before the line gets any longer." Conner answered as he went to grab my hand.

"No we aren't doing anything until you explain to me what the hell was wrong with you back there!" I yelled stepping away. Everyone around us looked over at me and Conner. I stood with my arms crossed while Conner looked down at the ground.

"Fine, but could you keep your voice down?"Conner whispered glancing around to see if anyone else was still paying attention to are petty scene. I nodded quickly waiting for Conner to begin his explanation. "It's just, from what Aubrey said it sounds a lot like my brother Mason, that Jade is going to meet up with.. And well the two of us have never gotten along."

Conner's hands began to ball up into a fists as he looked back at the food stands we were just at. Things must really be bad between the two if just mentioning his name can get Conner so worked up. I sighed not knowing what else to say, and I cautiously reached my hand out to his fist. He looked up at me with shocked eyes and I tried my best to make an understanding face but to be honest Icouldn't rally understand since Ryan was always so kind to me.

"Conner if it is ..if it is Mason then I'm sure it will all be okay because you have me." I smiled up at him hoping this would be enough to make him feel better. To my surprise Conner jerked his hand away, immediately turning his back to me.

"That's not how life works..." Conner muttered walking away. What just happened.. I have never seen him so angry. Should I follow him I mean I want to know more but he seems so upset and I don't want to be alone. "Conner! Wait!" I yelled running after him. He stopped walking but didn't turn around.

"Look I'm sorry I was just trying to make you feel better, But apparently it didn't help so let's just drop it. Maybe we could forget I even said anything?" I asked after I had finally caught up to him.

"Ya sounds good." He agreed half heartily. Although he went along with what I said, I could tell he was still very upset. The rest of the day went by very slowly and awkwardly

After awhile of walking from ride to ride we decided to go back to the room and see if Jade was ready to go out to my birthday dinner. I called Aubrey and Ryan and we decided to just meet back there. Conner walked along with me not saying anything but I knew why. He was still worried about the whole mason thing and to be honest I was too.

I casually strolled to my room after we got off the elevator. I knocked hard on the door but nothing. Looking back behind me I saw Conner leaning against the wall, his head tilted back and eyes closed. While I was looking away the door flew open and Jade stared at me with a surprised expression.

"what are you guys doing here?" her voice quaked as I starred at her messy hair and barely thrown on shirt.

"Who's the guy?" I asked pushing past her. she blushed instantly looking down at the ground. My whole body froze when I saw the half naked guy sitting on her bed.

"Hey." he said with a wink as I gawked at him. He had long brown hair , light blue almost grey eyes. No shirt with perfect abs and jeans on.

"Uh hi I'm Brooke and you are?" I asked walking over to where his shirt laid on the floor. I picked it up and threw it at him before he could respond. "Mason and thanks." He put his shirt on and stood up off the bed.

"Well we just came to get ready for my birthday dinner..We have an extra reserved seat with us because one of the girls Nicki couldn't make it. Would you like to join us?" I asked looking over at Jade's excited smile.
