Complete and utter darkness is what I was plummeting down into with Unknown grasping my chest. The 9000 mile an hour wind being blown in my face as we fell was the only thing preventing me from screaming. I could hear the noise of metal shutters clanging off each other and I shut my eyes tight, afraid I was about to crash into whatever it was we were approaching. Before I knew it we came to an abrupt stop. I opened my eyes and looked down at the floor to find we were hovering over the cold metal floor.

"Oh well of course you can fly" I said cheekily to Unknown and Destiny.

"We all can!" Destiny said, walking right by me into a dimly lit place. I turned my head around to Unknown. “You can em, let go of me now”

“Oh, sorry! I didn’t realise, forgive me” I obviously couldn’t see his face, with the fact that he wears a mask every day of his life, and the fact that where ever we were was pitch black.

Destiny brought her hands together with a smile and clapped. "We're back!"
And with that the entire place lit up revealing something I thought only existed on a cinema screen!

It was like a laboratory with hundreds of little monitors all over the walls, all metal flooring which clanked when you took a step on it. There was a lot of weird floating objects in vials of coloured glowing liquids – it all looked very stereotypically Stan Lee.

“Welcome back Miss Destiny, Unknown and, Welcome Mister Bell! I have been waiting quite a while for this day, us meeting, I am honoured to be in your company.

My head shot in every direction in the whole laboratory. “Eh- Unknown.” I said tugging at his arm. “Who-who said that?”

“Forgive me for not introducing myself Mister Bell, I am C-Droid-7154, but you may call me Sid.”

“I would say ‘nice to meet you’ but I don’t know where you are” I say still looking around. “Where are you?”

“Ahh! Great question! You see, I died over one hundred years ago- the people of Paralonion thought of me as “Far too Sacred to let die” so my brain was removed from my nearly dead body and it was hooked up to this fancy contraption which, well this may all be a bit too technical for you so to answer your question, I am this room, I am the walls, I am the floors, I am the air I am everywhere, yet nowhere!”

“And irritating as ever!” Destiny said laughing.

“Now miss Destiny don’t cause a scene, we have a guest” Sid replied.

“Wait a second. I am so, very confused. A brain? Paralonion? What?” I said with my brain actually hurting.

“You will understand soon enough” Destiny said to me with her hand waving, indicating for me to take a seat at the big long table in the middle of the lab.

“Wait, what if I don’t want to understand?” I say taking a step back causing Destiny and Unknown to look at me funny. “What if I just want my same old boring life to stay the same way as I like it?”

“Daniel I understand how strange this may be, having all of this presented to you so suddenly, but if you please let us explain, for you may be in great danger and all we want is to prevent that completely, following orders if you will.”

I furrowed my eyebrows and nodded, a part of me wanted to just go home but what if what Destiny was saying is true then there is nothing I can do but stay.

I took my seat and as I sat down a cloud of pink smoke formed beside me and slowly cleared revealing both L’Ange and Creed both seated.

“Ah great! You are back! And just in time too!” Destiny said with Joy then her face went serious as she looked over at Creed. “How are you feeling Creed? Any better now?” You could hear the worry in her voice and see it on her face.
