I woke up the sound of my alarm clock going off I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and got ready for work I took a shower and made myself breakfast after eating I made my way downstairs to feed my dog and cleaned his mess then washed my hands, I grabbed my bag and car keys and drove to work
*At the coffee shop*
You guessed it I'm a barista it was pretty earlier
I read a magazine until I heard the bell from the door Y/n: "hi, what can I get you?" I say cheerfully
??: "a venti caramel latte" Y/n: "that'll be 2.50" he handed me the money and I grabbed a cup and realized I needed his name Y/n: "what's your name?" ??: "Jonah" Y/n: "alright you can stand over there" I pointed to the right he nodded and I made his coffee and handed it to him Jonah: "this is really good!" Y/n: "thanks, have a good day" Jonah: "You too" I smiled and he returned a bright smile and waved bye after that day he came in everyday to get coffee until one day Jonah: "hey Y/n" Y/n: "hey Jonah! The usual?" Jonah: "Yeah..." I got him a cup and started making his coffee Jonah: "um- Y/n I-I was wondering if you like to go out with me tonight?" Y/n: "yeah here's my number" I said handing him a piece of paper Jonah: "I'll send you detail" Y/n: "sounds good" he grabbed my hand and kissed it he waved bye and I waved back blushing red
