Unexpected- Zach Herron Part 2

I'm overthinking this, right

~Morning~
I got dressed and saw my dad with Aubrey, Michael and Allison
Michael: "Hey Y/n!" Y/n: "hi Michael" Audrey: "I was wondering if you needed a ride to school, Michael has his driving license and he's taking Allison to school, do you need a ride?" Y/n: "yeah, thanks Michael and Audrey"

Michael dropped Allison off first and drove us both to school we made jokes, laughed, and sang weirdly to the music playing from the radio
We finally made it to school and decided to walk around till the bell rang and eventually started talking about our family
Michael: "you know our parents are gonna get married" Y/n: "they didn't have to tell me, I could see it" Michael: "Yuhp I have seen my mom this happy"
Y/n: "same for my dad" Michael: "I don't mean to invade in your privacy or anything but what happened with your mom, you don't have to answer if you don't want to" Y/n: "she left when I was 13 because she got pregnant with another mans baby" Michael: "I'm sorry" Y/n: "it's okay I've doing good without her...what happened with your dad?"Michael: "he walked out on us, when Allison was born he claimed that my mom cheated on him and that Allison wasn't his kid...he always said he wouldn't leave but now look where that got him!"
Michael was quiet after that I felt guilt rush over me, I've never seen him like this, Michael was the kind of kid that was always happy but when he talked about his father that brought him down I brought him into a hug and rubbed his back  Michael was always a rock for someone but he needed someone to be his rock now that we're basically brother and sister I'm gonna be there for him and Allison, even if I only knew him for a week it's like he's my biological brother that I never had

Y/n: "feel okay?" Michael: "yeah....thanks Y/n" he said hugging me again and kissed my head softly we pulled away, and walked to class, I helped around the school showing him the fastest ways to class, and where the classes were
Michael: "see you at home Y/n/n" Y/n: "bye Mike" he smiled and I went to meet Lia in study hall

Lia: "hey girl!" She said hugging me I hugged back and saw Zach behind her frowning I smiled at him but he turned head away from me I walked toward Zach
Y/n: "are you okay?" Zach: "yeah I'm terrific" he said walking away Y/n: "Zach!" I yelled across the room but he didn't turn just kept walking so I did what I thought I'd never do, yep you guessed it I ran after a boy I ran up to stay and grabbed his wrist turning him to face me Y/n: "why are you acting like this?!" Zach: "you really wanna know why?" Y/n: "yes! I'm worried about you, you've never acted like this"
Zach: "it's because I love you but not the way you love me, I know we swore not to fall for each other but you make it so hard....I mean how could anyone not fall for you, you may not see that your beautiful, strong, smart, optimistic, and generous, kind, and carefree, but in my eyes your perfect I guess I'm stupid to think you felt the same"

He got out of my grasp and left...
My best friend, the person who was always there for me, the main reason I'm not going insane
School was over and I needed someone to talk to I went to find Lia trying to talk to Zach he looked my way and went the other direction then Lia came my way Lia: "I'm sorry Y/n, he won't talk to anyone"
Y/n: "are you really sorry, or just want to rub in the fact that you were right" I realized what I had said
Y/n: "Lia I didn't mean it I was just frustrated"
Lia: "I know it's okay, and no I'm gonna do that because your my friend and friends don't do that to each other" Y/n: "thanks" I said hugging her
Lia: "how about we get you home, I know Michael already left"
Y/n: "yeah I told him I would walk home" Lia: "so you two aren't...?" Y/n: "what no!" Lia: "yikes! You might wanna tell that to Zach he thinks you two are together!" Y/n: "where is he?!" Lia: "he told me was gonna be at his house the rest of the day" I didn't say anything just ran to Zach house hoping he would talk to me

I got his house and knocked on the door and his mom opened the door Myta: "hey Y/n! How are you?" Y/n: "Hi Myta! I've been good, how are you?"
Myta: "doing good" Y/n: "is Zach home?"
Myta: "yeah, it seems he was waiting for you, go on up" Y/n: "thank you" I said hugging her she let me out the hug and I went upstairs and saw Zach leaning against his window Y/n: "Zach?" He looked at me with a sad look Y/n: "why didn't you tell me?" Zach: "we already made our promise and I thought it would go away if I showed lust but it turned to love when I was with you" Y/n: "it didn't matter if we made the promise we could've worked something out" Zach: "I don't want this friends with benefits anymore I want something real with you, I've never felt this way about anyone else, it's only you I want, but you want another guy..."
Y/n: "who are you talking about? Another guy?"
Zach: "don't pull that bullshit Y/n you hugged him this morning!" Y/n: "Zach he's my step brother! I hugged him cause he couldn't handle all his feelings!" Zach: "I'm sorry, I just got jealous, I know we're not together but I want to be" Y/n: "I think we should try then" Zach: "in that case, Y/N Y/L/N will you be my girlfriend?" Y/n: "yes!" He pulled me in a kiss but this time passionate and full of love at that moment he told me how he felt I knew I felt the same way after seeing him sad I knew that I hated seeing him like that and now I have him and he has me
