Coming Home ( Being revised)

Sierra started packing when she got home, she had to find a big enough suitcase to put everything in which took some time. She packed dozens of shirts, jeans, yoga pants, leggings, and a few dresses. You name it she packed it.

She decided now would be a good time to call her sister and tell her she was leaving the country for a few months.

" Hey Sierra, how are you?" Summer asked, the two used to talk all the time but then both became busy with Broadway.

" Hey Summer! I am heading to London for a few months tomorrow and just wanted to check in with you before I leave." Sierra felt guilty about telling her last minute but she was always busy.

" Oh my goodness! That is awesome! For what?" Summer had a show starting in an hour so Sierra knew she couldn't talk long.

" I got cast as Christine in the 25th Anniversary of Phantom of the Opera. The show is next month if you would want to go."

" Of course! Well I have to go warm up but I hope you have an amazing time over there and be safe!" Summer was worried having Sierra that far away.

" I will email you everyday and let you know how everything is." Sierra was going to miss Summer.

" Okay good. I have to go! I love you Sierra."

" I love you too! Have a good show." Sierra hung up the phone and went to make herself some dinner. She grabbed some chicken and vegetables. She knew she should get a goodnight sleep so after she ate she went to bed.

Sierra changed into her pajamas, took off her makeup and brushed her teeth. She put on the Phantom soundtrack and fell asleep to its sweet music.

- The next day-

Sierra woke up early so she had enough time to do last minute packing and so she could have enough time to get ready. She went to her closet and threw on a pair of leggings and a nice sweater as well as sneakers.  She braided her hair into a fishtail braid and put on some mascara and lip gloss. She grabbed her bags and headed for her Uber.

" Good morning Miss Boggess, how are you today?" The Uber driver and Sierra had formed a friendship over the last few months.

" Good Morning Jeff, I am great!" Sierra handed him her bags so he could put them in the trunk.

" Where too?"

" The airport. I'm heading to London!"  Sierra climbed into the car and made herself comfortable.

" Ah, congrats! What for?" Sierra trusted Jeff so she didn't mind all the questions.

" I am playing Christine in Phantom. I can get you a ticket if you want." Sierra wanted as many people to be there for her.

" I can try to get there I suppose." They had arrived at the airport.

" Well Jeff, I'm going to miss you." Sierra gave Jeff a hug like she always does when leaving.

" Have a safe flight Sierra." Jeff handed her the bags.

Sierra took her bags to the check in and it went quicker then expected and soon she was on her way to the gate.

She was asked by a few of her fans to take a photo and sign some autographs which she gladly did. Soon enough her flight was boarding so she got on. When she was seated and comfortable she got her Ipod out and listened to the songs she would be singing in just a few weeks.
