Show Me Light

After dinner the two made it back to the hotel, Ramin pulled out his key card and opened the door.. He could see the sleepiness on Sierra's face and in her eyes. " You look exhausted, why don't you take the bed? I am fine with taking the couch."  After what Sierra had been through he wanted her to get a good nights sleep.

" Ramin, I appreciate it but I am fine with taking the couch.. You are already letting me stay here I do not want to be too much of a bother." Sierra was the type of person who felt bad when she imposed on people's plans.

" You are certainly not a bother! I want you to be and feel safe and will do whatever I need to do to make you feel that way."

Sierra could see the sincerity in his eyes, " I will take the couch, it is actually pretty comfortable" She walked over to the couch and plopped down to prove her point. She could fall asleep right then and there but she knew she had to get up and get ready for bed.. She found the strength to get off the couch and headed to her bag to grab her stuff.

" I know I am not going to win this so fine.. you can get the couch... but the bed is still available if you would like." Ramin went to his room to gather the blanket and some pillows for her.

"I forgot my hoodie in my room and I am too tired to walk to get it.. do you have one I can borrow for tonight?"

Ramin walked over to the closet and pulled on out for her, "Here you go, you can keep it if you want."  Ramin handed her the sweatshirt, he barely wore it and was glad it found a new home.

" Thank you!" Sierra took the hoodie and went to the bathroom to change... she brushed her teeth and hair and then threw on her clothes.. she sniffed the hoodie and smiled, it had smelled just like him. She was looking forward to a good nights rest after last night.

"Hey, it looks great on you!" Ramin stood up from the couch to let Sierra get comfortable. " Oh by the way Mandy called, my kids are coming tomorrow night to visit."

Sierras heart skipped a beat when she heard the name Mandy. Mandy, the one who ruined everything between Sierra and Ramin in the first place. She did not want to sit there and dwell on the past but she couldn't help it. "Fun! Can't wait to meet them finally." She tried to not show how she felt.

"Well you can come with me to pick them up if you would like. Their flight gets in after rehearsal ends." Ramin knew his kids would love Sierra.

" Yeah I should be free to go." Sierra was deep down excited to meet the kids, even if it had to do with Mandy.

" Alright perfect.. well I will see you in the morning ! I am off to bed.. remember the bed is open if you want to switch."

" Haha I am okay, I am perfectly comfortable right now! Goodnight!" Sierra laid down and pulled the blanket over her and got comfortable.

Sierra sat straight up, heart racing unable to catch her breath... She had just experienced the worst nightmare of her life and it involved the one and only Tam.. She felt like Tam was still standing over her even though she was alone in the room.. Her anxiety was sky rocketing at the very thought of the nightmare. She knew she had to do something about Tam, she reached for her phone and contacted the NYPD and told them everything that was going on.. They promised they would look into it ASAP and try to be as discrete as possible to protect Sierra.

she felt better knowing it was in the right hands.. she was starting to doze of when she heard Ramin coming out. " Hey is everything okay? I heard you on the phone and you sounded upset."

" I had a nightmare about Tam, that he was here standing over me." Sierra could feel herself getting worked up again, " I called the police and they said they are going to take care of it."

" Oh Sierra, I am so sorry...do you want me to come sit out here until you fall asleep? Or you can come in the room."

Sierra gathered up everything and headed towards the room, Ramin followed behind worried about her. " Make yourself comfortable, I am going to grab a cup of tea would you like one?"

" Yes please!" Sierra said as she made herself comfortable In his bed.

Ramin went back out to the kitchen to make the teas, when he returned to his room Sierra was already sound asleep.. Ramin put the teas down and climbed into bed. He leaned over and kissed the top of Sierra's head and drifted off.
