Lunch:
Y/N's POV:
"Y/N!" A voice calls from behind me, startling me. It's Max.
"Max."
"I need your help..."
"What?"
"I like..."
"Who?"
"Hermione Granger..."
"The 2nd year Gryffindor?"
"Yeah..."

"Please don't hate me for it." He sighs.
"What, why would I hate you?"
"For liking a Gryffindor... a mudbl-..."
"Don't you DARE finish that sentence Max Jackson Moonshine!"
"Sorry..."
"It's fine. Just don't say that word please."

"Malfoy is going to HATE me..."
"Why do you care about what that maggot thinks?"
"Y/N!"
"It's true. Go for her Max, I've heard that she's a lovely girl."
"I need your help though..."
"What is it?"
"Please can you speak to her for me?"
"Yeah."
"Don't embarrass me."
"I'm not going to!"

"Have you got any Gryffindor friends that you can take with you? For less intimidation..."
"Yeah, actually..." My eyes flicker over to Oliver, smiling suspiciously.
"What? You're staring."
"Max! I've found the perfect person to help me so shut it!" He squeals with excitement.

"What am I going to do about Draco though?"
"Fuck him!"
"Language!"
"Oh be quiet. Why don't you make friends with Harry and Ron?"
"I think Ron also likes Hermione."
"Nah, I've heard that he likes someone else. Try and talk to them. I'm just glad you don't like that awful Pansy."

"She's my friend!"
"Sorry Max but she's not a good one."
"Okay okay I get it. Can you try and talk to her please?"
"Yes... I'll get my friend."
"Thanks so much." He wraps his small arms around me, squeezing me tightly. I haven't had a hug like this since his first day in first year. He lets go and hurriedly runs back to his table.

"Oliver!"
"Yeah?"
"I need a favour..."
"What is that favour?" He looks at me weirdly.
"I need you to help me talk to Hermione... my brother likes her and he wants me to talk to her but he's scared that I'll intimidate her."
"What's in it for me?" He jokes, I glare at him.
"Only joking before you kill me! Come on then."

I pull him over to the Gryffindor 2nd years, all eyes divert over to us.
"Hermione... Which one is she?"
"That'll be me." A beaming curly haired second year strikes up.
"Ahhh... hello." Oliver and I scatter over to her.

"You're Oliver, right? And you're Y/N, Max's sister."
"Correct." We both say in unison.
"I have to ask you something Hermione." I smile sweetly.
"Sure."
"So you know Max..."
"Yep."
"Well he wants to talk to you... because-." Oliver cuts me off, saving Max any embarrassment.

"So, the lad would like to speak to you because he wants to become friends." She flushes bright red, hiding her face in her sleeve. Her locks of hair bob up and down.

"Hermione, isn't that the boy you like?!" A clueless Harry questions.
"Harry!" She swats at him with a book.
"Do you now?" I ask, eyebrow raising.
"Uh..."
"She does!" A squeaky ginger that looks just like the twins speaks up, that must be Ron.

"Hello, Ron." Oliver waves, the ginger waves back.
"Well that's great, he likes you too..."
"Y/N!"
"Sorry. Had to say it."
"Does he?" Her face lights up.
"Yeah. He thinks you might not like him because he's Slytherin."

"Oh that's stupid! He is a rather nice boy. He's in some of my lessons."
"Well that's great..."
"Can you maybe... get him over here?" She nervously twiddles with her hair.
"Yes of course."

I scan my eyes around the room, spotting him. He's looking straight at us, fake laughing along at something Draco is saying. I give him the look of approval and I watch as their mouths trying to make out what they're saying as he begins to tell Draco something.

"I'll be back."
"Where are you going?" He looks cross.
"To see my sister and her boyfriend."
Boyfriend?! Oh I'm going to be so telling him off when he comes over here. All of their eyes glance into my direction.
"She's dating a Gryffindor?" Draco scoffs.
"So?"
"And she's Slytherin. Come on Max, you know that's wrong!"
"Whatever... I'll be back." He grunts furiously.

He strolls over to us.
"Hi... Hermione." They both blush.
"Hello Max."
"I um..."
"What?"
"Well..."
"What is it?"
"I like you."

"Max..." She struggles to form a sentence.
"Yes?"
"I... like you too." They both smile warmly, looking away and giggling.
"This is so cute." Oliver whispers, I notice that I still have my arm interlocked within his.
"I know... It's sad to see him growing up though."
"You're a great big sister."
"Thank you." I blush.

"Y/N! Look, now we both have relationships!" Max yells out a bit too loudly, Draco rapidly turns his attention over to us.
"I haven't got a boyfriend!" I hiss.
"What about Oliver?" He asks, a puzzled look on his face.
"No."

"Oh well... Hermione and I are."
"Yes! Well done Max." I fist bump him with my free hand.
"Max lad, if you don't treat my fellow Gryffindor right your sister and I will be having words." Oliver jokes, we all chuckle.

"I'll talk to you later, Max and Hermione. Oliver and I better head off." I smile sweetly.
"Bye, Y/N and Oliver." Hermione waves us off.

I watch from the side of the room as Max returns to his original seat.
