The Town That Dreaded Sundown

Everyone's afraid to say it. So, let me be the first. There is a serial killer amongst us. San Francisco had the Zodiac. New Orleans had the Axeman. Texarkana, Texas, had the Phantom Killer. The list goes on and on. Add to their ranks Riverdale's very own psychopath, the Black Hood.

Terror was seeping into the bedrock in f Riverdale. A town hall meeting had been set by Mayor McCoy. People were afraid to walk the streets alone, especially as dusk approached. Shops closed early, locks were added to doors. Suspicions between the North and South side deepened fanned into flames by Alice Cooper and trying to play peacemaker was Sky Andrews.

As everyone wondered what danger lurked in the dark when we would hear from the Black Hood next and how far into darkness would Archie go on his quest to avenge his father and his sister and to stop the Black Hood?

I decided to go back to the Northside today. I know that I probably am not safe there but I don't care now. I am going to Sheriff Keller and then to school or to home, I don't know yet.

I went to the Sheriff's station. When I got there I got some weird looks but I didn't care. I went to the receptionist and asked if I could see Sheriff Keller and they told me to wait a minute.

Sheriff Keller brought me to his office a few minutes later. "What can I do for you Sky?" "My family members that got out on bail tried to kill me at the Pembroke. Also made a promise to kill me to the Black Hood. I have it on video if you wanna hear?" "Yes I do." I get my phone out and played the recording of the phone call and after the phone call.

"Enough evidence?" "Damn right it is. Where are they?" "Probably the twins are at the school and Dad at their apartment. Here is the address." I hand him the piece of paper with the address. "Can I come with you to the school?" "Of course because I know how much you want them in jail." "Thank you." We then headed to the school in his police car.

I walk into the school and told the Sheriff I would whistle when I want him to come in and I will text him. I walked straight through the halls ignoring the weird looks and went straight to the lounge.

When I go in there I saw my group of friends, minus Jug of course and also James and Laura. They smirked when they saw me but my friends were shocked.

"Twins, long time no see. Hey to you guys to." My friends started to walk towards me but I held my finger to them. "Twins, come here." "Do you have a death wish?" "No James and Laura but you guys may have tried to kill me twice might I add but you will never get away with it." "What do you mean?" Laura asked. "What I mean is that I have evidence that you guys and dad made a deal to kill me with the one and only, Black Hood."

Everyone in the lounge gasped. "That's right." I held up my phone and pressed play and played for everyone. James went to grab my phone but I smacked his hand away before he said "You better not show that to the police." I pressed to record button on my phone and said "Too little too late." I whistled and sure enough Sheriff Keller and other policemen came in and took them away and everyone cheered.

I knocked on Jug's door and he opened it up and he looked tired. "Sky? What time is it?" "Seven fifteen. I wanted to catch you before school." I give him a quick peck on the lips before he says "I'm sorry. I have morning breath." "I don't care Jug."
