Jug, FP and I rushed to the hospital with Famgs in FP and Jughead's arms. I shouted "Help us!" FP shouted after me. "We need a doctor!" We got to the counter and Jug said he would speak to the receptionist. "Ma'am." "Wait your turn please." "He was shot." "I need you to step back-" "He's dying!" Doctor Masters then came up because we were causing trouble. "Hey! What's going on here?" Jug went up to Doctor Masters. "My friend was shot, right in the stomach."

"Hey, get me a gurney." Two people came with a gurney and Doctor Masters was saying where to put Fangs. Fangs groaned and I looked away because I couldn't bear to see my best friend like this. "Let's go." FP tried to calm him down. "Hang in there. Hang in there." Once Fangs went then I started to run for the exit of the hospital and FP and Jug saw me and followed me.FP was the one to talk to me because Jug had stuff going on in his own mind.

"Where do you think you are going?" "To find the guy who shot Fangs." "You're not going out there. Not with people rioting. Look, you're angry, you want justice? So do Jug and I. You've got a fallen soldier here girl and we need to talk to his family. That's part of being a leader remember?" He was now in front of me. "Some leader I am. I can't take care of my best friend and now I have to take care of a 10 year old and make sure she doesn't get kidnapped." "Don't go down that road Sky. All right. Come on. Come on." He brought me back to the waiting room.

I went to the waiting room and I got a call from Dad. "Hey Dad. What's up?" "I wanted to let you know that I am going to get Archie from the riots. Where will I leave Dani?" "Um, I don't know. Actually can you collect me from the hospital, please? I can't be here any longer knowing Fangs might not survive." "Of course I will be there soon." "Thanks Dad. See you then."

I got up and Jug came towards me. I immediately went towards him and he didn't give me time to speak to him because he just engulfed me in a hug and buried his head in my shoulder. "Jug? Are you ok?" He lifted his head. "What if he doesn't make it?" "I wanted him to meet Dani but if he doesn't make them he won't be able. I don't want to lose him Jug." Jug held me close and then went towards the nearest nurse.

"Excuse me. How's Fangs Fogarty?" "He's still in surgery." Sheriff Minetta then came up behind the nurse. "I want to talk to him as soon as he wakes up." She nods her head and goes to the reception desk. I let go of Jug and turned to Sheriff Minetta. "Sheriff Minetta. Shouldn't you be on the streets looking for who shot Fangs?" "There's already a manhunt underway. Your Serpent pals aren't making things easy though. Rioting, carousing, terrorising the neighbourhood. Already arrested a few."

FP came up from behind Jug and I. "Fangs wouldn't have a slug in his gut if you had just done your job in the first place." "I don't know the details of your parole Mr. Jones, but I'm certain harassing an officer would violate them." FP chuckled. "FP." He turned around. "Jug? Why didn't you stop him?" "I tried but he ripped himself from my grip. I have to go to Pops because I have to meet Dad there but I'll see you later."

I was in Pop's when Reggie came through the door. I went straight up to Reggie. "Reggie? Are you okay?" "Why you talking to me, after what I did?" "Look, I know Hiram made you do it. Now, do you want me to call Archie, tell him your here?" He nods his head so I ring Archie. "Sky? Are you okay?" "I thought I would let you know that I found Reg." "Where?" "Come to Pop's." "Be there in a minute." I told Reggie that and then I saw Dani outside.

I ran outside to Dani. She was shaken up. I picked her up and carried her inside. I set her in a booth and tried to get her to talk to me. "Dani? Dani, where's Fred?" "While he was distracted I ran out of the van." "Why?" "I didn't want Daddy to get me." I looked at her sympathetically. Before I could say anything Archie came in the door along with Moose and Kevin. I took Dani and picked her up in my arms and went to the stools.
