Another five minutes of searching I finally found Transfiguration and oddly enough Harry and Ron hadn't arrived. I managed to slip into the class, shut the door gently and tip toe over to the nearest seat. I sat down and let out a sigh.

"Couldn't resist me, Diggory?" A sneering voice asked in a cocky tone. My blood ran cold, the person I had sat next to. Yep, Draco bloody Malfoy. Just my luck. I let my eyes drag over to him where he was sitting, quill in hand, smirking at me. I rolled my eyes, "he's trying to provoke you val" I thought to myself, resisting the urge to make a snarky comment back.

"You know I think the sorting hat made a mistake. You look more like, hmm one of those know-it-all Ravenclaws." Draco continued. My blood bubbled like boiling water.

"Oh come on Malfoy, don't be jealous just because the Ravenclaws have a sense of intelligence that you lack. And if I knew you were sat here, I wouldn't have. Don't flatter yourself." Before Malfoy could protest against me, the door opened loudly and through it ran Harry and Ron.

I watched as they stopped in the Hallway of seats and tables and started talking. Something about Professor Mcgonagall and how she had an old face. As of there I couldn't hear because of Malfoy talking next to me.

"Eyeing Potter are we, Diggory? Don't you think he's a bit specky for taste?" Draco asked, genuinely smiling. I frowed but smiled anyway.
"Worry about your own taste before you worry yourself about mine, Malfoy. And what would you know about my taste anyways?" Draco shrugged.
"I dunno. You just don't seem like a 'dark-haired boy' kinda girl."
