𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 fingers through your hair, doing anything and everything you could to occupy yourself while waiting for Bokuto's arrival.

You sighed, looked out the window watching the clouds drift, smiling softly at the sight before your smile faltered.

'When was the last time I went outside? I should go before I...'

You shook her head ridding yourself of your thoughts before it ruins your whole day. Every second, every hour, every day matters now and you do not plan on wasting any of it thinking about your demise.

"Babe hey!"

You flinched slightly closing your eyes.

'How did I not hear him come in? Are my senses already starting to fail me?'

You opened them and smiled, "Hey Ko! I've been waiting for you."

He cheekily grinned, "Well here I am! And I brought something with me too."

You widened her eyes. "Again?! Is this going to become a daily thing or something?"

Bokuto slyly smiled a michevious glint appearing in his eyes.

"Maybe, maybe not." He pointed his left thumb at his chest then pointed his right pointer finger at you. "But thats for me to know and for you to find out."

You giggled all your negative thoughts washed away now that your in Bokuto's presence.

You patted your bed, "Well now Im interested. Come show me what you got."

He happily walked over to your bed and sat next to you in the same spot as yesterday. Dropping his backpack on the floor in the process.

The hyperactive boy shifted over slightly unzipping his bag.  You peeked over his shoulder resting your chin on it curious to see what he brought today.

He removed the item from the bag sluggishly slow for suspense then turned back over showing his girl the book.

Your jaw unhinged slightly, eyes filled with wonder before chuckling softly. Nostalgia instantly filling your body.

"Is that our..." You started.

"high school year book?" You and Bokuto finished in unison.

"Yeah!" He exclaimed.

You grinned, "Fukurodani. The home of some of our best memories."

He nodded in agreement.

Why were they so excited about a yearbook?

Well on the last day of their third year when they got their yearbooks and signed them, they promised each other to never look at them again.

So that the next time they do they'd hopefully be old, married, surrounded by their children, and maybe even a couple grandchildren.

Oh how naive they were to think that their lives would go just as planned.

Here they were about to go through their yearbook at 21 instead of 81 because news flash:

Not everyone gets their happy endings.

But let's not dwell on that.

You scooted closer to Bokuto so you could get a better view of the book.

"Here we go..." Bokuto said before opening the book.

You pointed to Bokuto's picture day photo for their first year. You covered your mouth with your fist attempting to conceal your laughter and failing miserably.

"Pftt w-who told y-you it was a good idea to slick your hair back?"

Bokuto looked at you offended puffing out his chest. "It was my idea. And kaa-san said it looked great!"

You shook your head after your laughter calmed down, "Yeah sure 'great'.

☀︎︎ꕥ꧁꧂ꕥ☀︎︎

Bokuto gaped at your second year photo stars filling his eyes.

"Wow...look at you how'd I get so lucky?"

You slapped his shoulder, "Don't just say stuff like that!!" You looked away a light hue of pink coating your cheeks.

Bokuto smirked poking your cheek, "Aww are you embarrassed?"

"S-shut up! Just turn the page already!"

He laughed turning the page.

☀︎︎ꕥ꧁꧂ꕥ☀︎︎

You laced her fingers together looking at Bokuto's third year photo dreamily.

"Thank god you listened to me and let your hair down for that photo."

He hummed. "Yeah your right about that one."

Bokuto grinned.

"Thats when we won the Spring Tournament our first year!"

"Yup there's me, Akaashi, you, and Yukie."

Bokuto pouted, "Remember when you liked Akaashi all through  out junior high and our first year?"

"Mhm. But Ko?"

"Yeah?"

You laid your head on his chest.

"I'm glad I'm with you."

He wrapped his arm around you and kissed you on the cheek.

"I am too."
