Chapter 14

CHAPTER 14 (BPOV)

It had been weeks since I had said 'goodbye' to Charlie, but it felt like it was just yesterday. I knew Edward didn't like seeing me sad, so I tried to act normal. Tried. I had to get over it. But I remember Charlie's face in my mind. It was so sad. But now I have another problem, we have to move. I don't even know where to. I didn't want to make everyone leave because of me. I ruin everything, don't I?

Edward was running behind me, trying to catch up. But I was too fast for him. I hid behind a nearby tree so I when he stopped I could jump out and scare him. I wasn't good at scaring at people, but I'd give it a shot. I heard him stop running. I peeked out from behind the tree. He wasn't there anymore. I stepped out of my hiding place and stepped out. Where'd he go?

Two solid arms wrapped around me and tickled my stomach. I started laughing my BUTT OFF!!! I feel onto the ground while Edward tickled me harder. I was very ticklish.

-" . . . Oh My God . . . EDWARD STOP! . . . PLEASE! . . . " I said between my laughs. He finally let go of me after 5 minutes of torture. I sat up and backed up against a tree.

-"Wow, you know I've never met a vampire that's ticklish. You just made history!" Edward teased.

-"Oh, har har. Shut up!" I told him. He sat next to me. My stomach didn't actually hurt from the tickling, I just wish he'd never done that. We sat there for 5 minutes until I brought up hunting again. This time, Edward took my hand and ran. I guess he didn't feel like racing anymore. We found two mountain lions. Edward went to the bigger one and started drinking immediately. I ran to the other one before Edward could get to it.

After we finished hunting, we started to run home until I smelled something. Edward had smelled it, too. We ran in the direction of the aroma. Trying to find out what it was. We stopped dead in our tracks . . .
