The Relic Wizard

Chapter One - The Fairy Tail

"I'm finally here!" Said a young man.
This young man is named Ryuu. He is quite the... 'Energetic' young man... He's a wizard that, like many others, wishes of becoming a member of the famous guild, 'Fairy Tail'! However, instead of waiting for an opportunity to join, he decided to be an impatient brat and hike several miles through the wild to finally arrive at the guild hall.
"It took so long! I haven't eaten for days! Speaking of which... Ugh..." He groaned as he fell to the ground, clenching his stomach tightly which apparently made it hurt less.
"Hello..? Anybody in there?" He asked as he knocked as hard as he could on the large door.
"Hmm?" Replied a feminine voice.
Suddenly a white-haired girl came out of the hall to greet Ryuu, collapsed on the ground of starvation.
"Have... Any... Food..?" He mumbled.
"Oh dear! We need him to eat right away! He looks anorexic! Geez! Why haven't you eaten?!?" She asked, panicking at the sight of Ryuu's boney body.
"I'm... Fine... Just... Need..." Mumbled Ryuu as he fainted.
"Oh for pete's sake!" She said as she dragged him into the hall.
When Ryuu was healing and the moon was high in the dark sky.
"Ugh... Nice nap... Wait... Why am I in a bedroom..? I've been kidnapped! AAHH!" Ryuu yelled as he panicked.
"Would you shut up? We're trying to sle-" Said a pink-haired man, then realising he'd never seen Ryuu before, "Who the heck are you?"
"Oh I'm Ryuu! Nice to me-... Wait a second! Did you take me here!?!" Asked Ryuu.
"Look will you shut the hell up? It's two am dude! Calm the heck down! Geez... Look... I'm Natsu... Nice to meet ya... Wait... Are you the guy that Mirajane was talking about? You have brown hair... Check! You're on the verge of death... Probably not anymore if it is you an-" Natsu said, naming the facts stated earlier by Mirajane as she carried Ryuu to the bedroom he was now inside.
"Wait... Is Mirajane the girl with white hair that was dragging me?" Ryuu asked.
"Yup! That's her!" Natsu replied.
"Okay then... I'll have to say thank you to her... Well... If I get food before I die of starvation..." Ryuu explained.
"Oh you'll be fine! Trust me! Mirajane casted a spell on you and healed you right up! So that stomach ache you have is just that you're having spell sickness... Mirajane is the only healer we had here and she isn't very good at healing either so... Yeah..." Natsu explained.
"I see... Well I am going to get some rest..." Said Ryuu as he got comfortable in his bed and closed his eyes.
"Is he awake already?" Asked Mirajane as she walked into the room, "I'm sorry about my bad healing skill. I'm not really a master at those things but I'm the best there was at the time you had fainted."
"It's okay... I'm awake now..." Said Ryuu getting up, annoyed at her interrupting his sleep.
"I'll go get the others to meet him okay Mirajane?" Asked Natsu.
"Yeah you do that..." Said Mirajane happily.
So this is the fairy tail guild..? Seems boring... I thought it was going to be lively around here... Ryuu thought as he dozed off, trying to wait for the 'others' to arrive with Natsu.
Moments later the door slammed open
"We're he-!!!" Shouted several people, then confused as they saw Marijane signalling to be quiet.
"Shhhhhhhh!" Whispered Mirajane furiously as she pointed at Ryuu sleeping, "Meet him tomorrow now go back to sleep before he wakes up! Now!"
"Okay then..." Said Natsu as everyone left the room.
After Ryuu had woken up in the morning, he stayed in bed because he had low energy from his lack of food.
"Good morning!!!" Squealed Mirajane as she ran into the room, easily waking Ryuu and possible making him deaf.
"Oh... Morning... Mirajane..." He said, then afterwards yawning.
Then Mirajane yawned afterwards.
"Aww stop! Yawning is contagious you know!" Said Mirajane cheerfully.
"Oh sorry... Well thanks for healing me... But I probably should get up and cha-" Stammered Ryuu, then noticing he had only what he was wearing, "Wait... I was wearing these clothes for six days?!?"
"Six days ?!? Oh my you've traveled far to get here! Come downstairs! We all wanna meet you!" She said.
"Uh... Okay then... But I look really bad..." He replied.
"Oh then use this! It's a spell that makes you look real handsome or pretty depending on the gender! It even gives you a whole new outfit and hairstyle that suits ya really well! But you can only use it once and it costs a lot so it'd better work or it's going to cost ya!" She explained as she grabbed Ryuu's hand and dragged him down the stairs.
"Um... Okay then... How does it work... Do you need any certain things for it?" He asked as he examined the small spell book marked 'stunning appearance spell'.
"Just an old outfit! You're wearing one right now but the transaction takes a while so maybe you want to be in privacy... And here is the bathroom!" She explained as she stopped running at a door and threw him in, making him fall face first onto the ground.
Oww... That hurt... Ryuu said as he rubbed his head.
"Heehee! You done yet? Or do I have to come in there and help you?" She asked.
"Uh... I'm fine thanks..." He said, then casting the spell.
In no less than five seconds he was clean, his teeth were shining, his hair actually looked half-decent and his outfit was noticeably less torn at.
"Done yet pretty boy?" She asked.
"Uh yeah... But why the weird nickname..?" He asked as he walked out.
"Cause you look prettier now than before now let's go to the main hall to meet everyone!
Mirajane ran downstairs while grabbing Ryuu's hand and then they finally arrived at the main hall.
"There they are!" Said a person from the crowd.
Everyone got excited as Mirajane and Ryuu ran to the front of the hall.
"This is Ryuu! He is the newest member of fairy tail!" Mirajane stated.
"Nice to meet yo-... What am I now?!?" Ryuu asked.
"That is why you came here... Isn't it?" She asked.
"Well yeah bu-" He stammered.
"Then here you go!" Mirajane said cheerfully, then taking Ryuu's shirt off.
"What the heck are you doing?!?" Ryuu asked, frightened of what her answer could be.
"Oh calm down! Geez..." She said as she pulled out a magical stamp with the fairy tail logo on it, "And... There! Your guild emblem! This shows you're in Fairy Tail! Congratulations! Heehee..."
"Uh... Thanks..?" Ryuu said, embarrassed at everyone seeing him without a shirt.
"Nice abs!" Said a young woman holding a beer, "I'm Cana! Nice to meet you hot stuff!"
"Um... Thank you... Cana... Nice to meet you..." Ryuu said, then getting red.
"Show us your magic skills... How do we know if you're any good or not?" Asked another young woman who had long, red hair, "Oh and I'm Erza by the way..."
"Yeah and don't let her looks fool ya cause she'll practically bite your head off if you make her angry!" Said a black-haired young man.
"Shut up you dick! You're the one who's half naked!!!" Erza yelled furiously.
"Hey! What does that have to do with anything you jerk?!?" He replied furiously.
"So you wanna fight do you..?" She asked while giving an evil smile to the young man.
"I'm good! Thanks for asking though! I should probably be nicer next time!" He replied cheerfully, trying to NOT get killed.
"Good... So... He's Grey by the way... He's a total moron..." She said to Ryuu, "But... Back to you showing us your magic skills."
"Oh right... Thanks..." Ryuu replied, "But... I'm kinda hungry and for the magic I use I need my stomach to be completely full or it won't work..."
Then Mirajane ran to the fridge in the bar and grabbed a couple rice balls.
Why were rice balls in the fridge inside the bar? Okay then... Ryuu thought.
"I barely ever give other's food to somebody but I'm sure they won't mind!" Mirajane said as she ran to where Ryuu was standing, then giving him the food.
Natsu the realised something and became furious.
"Hey! Those were mine! I was just about to eat those you jerk!" He yelled furiously.
"*gobble* Huh? *gobble*" Ryuu chewed.
"Ugh... Never mind..." He replied.
"Thank you kind sir..." Ryuu said, then bowing to Natsu.
"Ah it was nothing really..." He said, "Wait... It WAS something!!!"
"Hehehe... Just watch..." Ryuu replied awkwardly.
"Whatever..." Natsu said annoyed at Ryuu.
Ryuu then reached into his pocket and pulled out a black, shiny object. It was a old stone.
"What the?!?" Said a blonde girl under her breath.
"Hey look Lucy! It's a item wizard just like you!" Said a small blue cat that stood like a human, wearing a cape aswell.
"Happy... That's no ordinary stone... That's a... Relic..." She said, "No wizards can use them without injuring themselves through failure... What use does he have for one..?"
"Relic Gate... Open!!!" Ryuu yelled.
Then Ryuu started to grow weak.
"Have this!" Said Mirajane, shoving a rice ball in his mouth, "That'll do it!"
"I... Am... Ugh..." Ryuu staggered and fell to the ground.
