Chapter Ten - Enter Chi!

"Hey! Ryuu!" Lucy shouted from far away.
It was early in the morning and Ryuu was looking at jobs as he ate a sour apple.
"I love these tasty apples... Now... Where can I find a hard... Good-paying job for money... I really need to get a house or Lucy might think I'm irresponsible..." Ryuu explained to himself.
"Ryuu?" Lucy asked, walking up to Ryuu.
"Oh! Lucy! I'm just trying to find a good-paying job so I can save up for a house... I need a job so hard... It'll pay a jackpot!" Ryuu explained.
"Really? Then do an S-Class quest! They pay good! You just need an S-Class wizard to come with you!" Lucy explained cheerfully.
"Are you an S-Class wizard?" Ryuu asked.
"Heehee! I know you want to be with me a lot but I'm not an S-Class wizard! But I know another guy who is... He's pretty nice actually..." Lucy explained.
"Real-" Ryuu was cut off by a loud sound.
A very loud knocking noise was made on the gate doors of the guild. Then the doors went flying into pieces as a large crimson crystal burst through it and then went back into the ground. Behind what used to be the gate was a girl with short white hair that was furious. Her eyes matched the colour of the crystal that the gate was broken with.
"WHERE IS HE!?!" The girl yelled.
"Where is who?" Ryuu asked, calmly walking up to her.
"HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME IN SUCH AN INFORMAL WAY!!! YOU NEED PUNISHMENT!!!" She yelled.
"Ryuu! No! She's dangerous!" Lucy yelled as she ran to Ryuu.
"Lucy! Stop! She said I need punishment so... Let's see what she means... Nobody could ever wipe me out with a little read cry-" Ryuu was cut off by a horrible feeling.
A tall, thin, crimson crystal stabbed into Ryuu's torso, leaving him speechless.
"*cough* Y-You... *cough*" Ryuu coughed blood up, then grabbed the crystal which impaled him.
"Huh?" The girl asked.
"Y-You... YOU THINK THAT WILL KILL ME!?!" Ryuu yelled furiously, "I pity you for even having the thought of impaling a dragon with an 'itty bitty cwystal'!"
"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!?!" The girl yelled hysterically.
The girl's body dropped to the ground as if she had fainted. Then a purple gas came from the body and formed itself into a demon-shaped appearance.
"What the hell?!?" Ryuu yelled.
"This is who you insulted... SCARED YET?!?" The demon asked.
"Uh... No not really..." Ryuu yawned.
"What?!?" The demon yelled in curiosity.
"Hehehe... You'll see what I've got for you buddy..." Ryuu said, grasping his heavily-bleeding chest and wiping his blood-covered mouth.
"What's this? Let's see then!" The demon said confidently, running towards Ryuu and starting to cast magic.
"Relic gate... Open!" Ryuu yelled as he summoned the relic and started to absorb it's power, "Dragon Mode!"
"Eh? You can make a stone glow? Cool! But that won't help you!" The demon stated.
"Ryuu! Look out!" Lucy yelled.
Lucy is here... I can't slip up... I have to be a hero... Then she might love me even more... Ryuu thought hardly.
"Let's dance... Demon!" Ryuu said confidently.
"You've got guts accepting the fight buddy!" The demon said, stabbing Ryuu with a magic trident in the arm.
"Ryuu!" Lucy yelled, starting to cry.
"Hehehe... Dumbass..." Ryuu laughed.
The demon then noticed that Ryuu wasn't bleeding or even hurt at all.
"What the hell?!?" The demon shouted.
"How about I do... THIS?!?" Ryuu yelled, grabbing the dark-magic trident and throwing it far away.
"M-My t-trident..." The demon shivered in fear.
"Relic gate... Capture..." Ryuu said, holding a black square stone up to the demon's face, sucking the demon into the stone.
The stone then magically engraved the ancient symbol of 'Demon' on it. Ryuu then smiled.
"Hey Lucy?" Ryuu asked.
"Y-Yes baby?" She asked, awkwardly looking at the scene.
"I'm going to need some first aid or something..." Ryuu said, falling to the ground, "And so will that g-girl..."
"Oh! Right! I'll do that right away!" Lucy said, getting Mirajane and taking the Ryuu and the mysterious girl up stairs to Mirajane's 'Healing Room'.
There, Ryuu and the girl were healed by Mirajane with her best healing spell and laid in a bed. However, there was only one bed, so to be cheeky, Mirajane put the girl and Ryuu in the same bed and giggled. Then Mirajane left the room.
(And then...)
When the girl woke up, the was shocked to see Ryuu examining her body for any bruises or damage. But in her eyes he was examining her body for... 'Odd' reasons...
"What the hell?!?" The girl screams.
"Huh?" Ryuu looks over to see the girl wide awake, "Oh! Rise and shine! I'm Ryuu! I was checking to see if you were hurt anywhere... Hope you feel okay..."
"Ryuu huh? Well... Hopefully you're not a pervert but... I'm Chi... My name has a meaning which I like to hide because it was given from a bad past I've had... But a stranger doesn't need to know that..." Chi explained.
"Chi means blood... Eww..." Ryuu said, poking his tongue out as if he were sick.
"Seriously? The guy who killed a demon is afraid of blood?" Chi asked herself, "Wow... He's such a dumbass..."
"Okay look lady..." Ryuu got serious instantly, "My guild... And especially me... Save you're life! So don't go around calling people names because if I didn't release that demon and capture him into my relic, you could've killed a lot of people and would've been killed by the magic counsel or something! So be thankful! Got it?"
Ryuu looked away disruptively. Annoyed at Chi's disrespect, Ryuu walked out of the room without another word.
"Wait!" Chi said.
Ryuu opened the door.
"What do you want?" He asked angrily.
"I'm sorry... I just... I'm not a very nice person... I'm sorry for that... Please understand this..." Chi said.
Ryuu quickly acted as if he forgot about the whole argument.
"Okay then! Come downstairs and meet everyone! I'll introduce you!" Ryuu said.
"Uh... Okay then..." She replied, getting up from the bed and walking out of the room.
(So then this happens!)
Ryuu walked downstairs with Chi and saw Mason sitting at the bar with a Fairy Tail emblem on his right shoulder. Unsurprisingly, he was talking to attractive women. And that wasn't surprising also because all the girls in Fiore are extremely attractive.
"Mason?!?" Ryuu yelled in confusion.
"Oh hey! I joined the guild cause that babe over there asked me to. So yeah... Nice to meet ya!" Mason explained, pointing at Mirajane.
"Baby! You're awake! I missed you so much!" Lucy said, running up to Ryuu and kissing him on the cheek, then hugging him.
"You have a girlfriend I see?" Chi asked.
"Yep! We just got together and he's already so romantic..." Lucy started to get lovestruck over him.
"Yeah... Lucy is so adorable... She's my little princess-angel..." Ryuu said romantically.
"Oh brother..." Chi said, annoyed at the two getting all 'lovey-dovey' in front of her.
Chi walked over to everyone and introduced herself. She even ended up getting forced to join the guild by Mirajane. Eventually she was okay with it... But she still hid a secret she didn't want to tell anybody... Lucy and Ryuu were extremely pleased to receive 500,000 jewel for keeping the guild hall from getting destroyed and Ryuu was half-way to buying his own house! And his second half... That's where things got a bit tricky...
