Kihyun never knew that his meeting with his ex after 10 years would be at the countryside hospital but his ex, Hyunwoo was dying in front of him and he's the only one who can save him.

Kihyun decided to leave early from his shift because he didn't feel well. After bidding his goodbye to the nurses, he walked back to his home and saw someone's car in front of his house and he also saw how Hyunwoo pulled his luggage with him.
"He's really leaving..." Kihyun thought as he got closer to his house.
Hyunwoo saw him and he stopped at his place, didn't know what to do as Kihyun walked past him casually and tried to pretend that he didn't care about Hyunwoo leaving. Kihyun told himself that it's not a big deal, he didn't have to feel hurt because of it because Hyunwoo didn't have any relation with him. He is just a doctor who helped Hyunwoo, not more than it.
"Ki.. I'm leaving.." Hyunwoo finally said something and it made Kihyun stop right in front of his door. Kihyun turned his body and looked at Hyunwoo who's standing in front of him, he took a deep breath and looked at the taller one's face carefully. The face of someone who used to be so important to him, the one who made him feel loved and useless at the same time.
"Thank you for everything and i'm sorry." Hyunwoo looked right into his eyes and tried to reach Kihyun's hand but Kihyun stepped back, he avoided the touch because he's afraid that he might not want Hyunwoo to ever leave him again.
"I'm sorry...." Hyunwoo paused then took a step so he could get closer to Kihyun and this time Kihyun didn't step back and avoided him. Hyunwoo put his hand on Kihyun's shoulder softly, afraid that he could break Kihyun before he continued his words, "I'm really sorry for everything Ki."
Kihyun stayed silent and he bit his lower lips, he looked away from Hyunwoo to hide his steamy eyes. Kihyun really didn't know what to feel, he was angry because Hyunwoo lied to him but he didn;t want to be separated again with Hyunwoo because he was still deeply in love with him even after everything that has happened.
Hyunwoo gave him a last soft pat on his shoulder before he decided to walk away from Kihyun meanwhile Kihyun still didn't want to look at his ex's direction so Hyunwoo decided to walk away.
'I deserved this and maybe this is for the best. I hurted Kihyun and I deserved this.' he thought to himself as he walked to the car. It will be over once he enters the car, his relationship with Kihyun will be really over.
Right before Hyunwoo entered the car, Kihyun called him. "Hyunwoo!"
Kihyun gathered all his courage and walked to Hyunwoo, he took Hyunwoo's hand and faced him directly. Kihyun took a deep breath before he finally asked something that he really wanted to know for the last 10 years.
"Do you ever love me?" Kihyun asked confidently, it was the moment of truth. He didn't know why he asked it but he felt like he needed to know the latter's feelings toward him. At least if Hyunwoo told him that he never loved Kihyun at all, Kihyun felt like it was right for him to hate Hyunwoo with all his might even though he realized that deep down inside, he couldn't completely hate the man in front of him.
