The first thing Hyunwoo realized when he was back in Seoul was how cold the atmosphere at the office was. Hoseok looked like he lost his will to life and Changkyun didn't even bother to talk at all, he just nodded his head or hummed. He only talked when Hyunwoo asked but then he kept his mouth shut. Hyunwoo asked his secretary, Jooheon about what happened between two of them but Jooheon also got no idea.
"They were nearly as good as before they separated but they suddenly turned cold again." That was what Jooheon told him, so Hyunwoo took the initiative to have a talk with Changkyun because he knew that Hoseok won't answer him.Hyunwoo knew that he might not be the best option to talk about love but one thing he knew for sure that he didn't want his friends suffered.
A knock was heard and then he saw Changkyun open the door, "You called me?"
"Yes, come sit here." Hyunwoo said as he walked to the sofa that was located at the center of his room. Changkyun just nodded his head and did what he was told, he got a feeling that Hyunwoo wanted to ask about his relationship but he was not sure about it too.
"You don't look great boss, are you still hurting somewhere?" Changkyun jokingly asked Hyunwoo, trying to ease the awkward atmosphere.
Hyunwoo nodded his head, "My heart is the problem."
Judging by Changkyun's expression, Hyunwoo knew that the latter was a bit confused with his answer so he tried to explain, "My heart as in my feeling, not my real heart. If that makes sense."
"I... you still can't move on from your ex?"
Hyunwoo chuckled when Changkyun mentioned his ex, his closest circle knew about Kihyun but they never really met him. Hoseok was the only one who got to meet Kihyun but it's also because of the crazy favor he asked for Hyunwoo's sake. Not a really great way to meet each other.
"Well i just met him and fucked up. How about you and your ex?" there, Hyunwoo caught Changkyun off guard.
"That's smooth boss, which ex?"
"You know which one Changykun."
Changkyun sighed then he looked at Hyunwoo, the man who's not only his boss but also someone who is like an older brother to him. He knew that he couldn't lie in front of Hyunwoo so he decided to came all clean and tell everything to Hyunwoo but he didn't tell Hyunwoo about how Hoseok made out with the model because he's afraid that it would put Hoseok in a bad place.
"Why did you say that you don't love him when you clearly still love him?" Hyunwoo asked while looking at Changkyun seriously. He didn't understand why Changkyun did that but one thing for sure, he knew that Changkyun did that for Hoseok's sake.
