Stolas hung up the phone again before picking it up and redialing Blitzø's number.
Stella sat in the chair opposite his couch reading a book still wearing her silk nightgown while trying not to smirk at her husband's "mistress's" lack of response.

"Oh come on, Blitzy~" Stolas said, almost letting his voice become a whimper. "Please just pick up, at least let me know you're okay~"

Stella sighed, rolling her eyes.

"Give it a rest, my love" she stated, annoyed. "If that Imp didn't answer the first two hundred times you called, what makes you think he'll answer the next two hundred?"

Rising from her seat, the Goetic princess wrapped her arms around her husband from behind as he continued to frantically dial and redial. Pressing her beak against his neck, she sensually whispered in his unseen ear.

"Why don't you put down that phone and let me help you get your mind off your troubles?"

Overcome by worry, Stolas turned to his wife and buried his head the crook of her neck delivering soft kisses as her fingers combed through his feathers. The prince gently ran his claws down the front of his wife's dress before running them along her shoulders.

Stella sighed at the sudden action but didn't protest as Stolas began kissing his way down her neck. She hummed contently, enjoying the contact she was getting from the owl she married. They hadn't been this intimate since the day they wed and Octavia was born, so she'd almost forgotten how Stolas' touch felt.

Stolas carried his wife to the large canopy bed and laid her down on the maroon comforter. Stella held her breath to keep the helpless squeak inside her from escaping, but that didn't stop the shudder she felt as her husband ran his hand along her chemise buttons. His unoccupied hand was quickly reassigned to the princess's face who snuggled against it.

"You have no idea how much I've missed this..." Stella breathlessly said. "I wish we could stay like this forever, so I can show you just how much I love you~"

Stolas moved from his wife's leg back up to her cheek, planting more kisses each one more loving than the last. Stella nuzzled the top of her husband's head as he did this.

"There's nothing I want more than to spend this time with you, my love~" The prince purred. But then in his pleasured daze, he said something that completely shattered Stella's heart...

"Oh, Blitzø...~"

Stella could literally hear her heartbeat drop as her husband continued to kiss her neck, ignoring the salty taste of the tears falling from her turquoise eyes. She put her hand over her mouth to keep the heartbroken sob from escaping her lips, using the other hand to gently push Stolas away.

The Goetic prince eyed his wife with a confused expression, oblivious to what he had just said. It was possible that he was too overwhelmed by the pleasure fantasizing about Blitzø that he didn't realize he was that he was voicing his thoughts.

"Is something the matter, darling?" He asked, giving her a concerned look. Stella didn't respond until she went into her walk-in closet and laced on a new dress. When she was fully dressed again, she found herself unable to go back out there and face the Goetic she married. So she slammed the closet door shut before sliding down to the floor to softly weep.

How dare he!? How dare the cheating bastard love that IMP more than her! How could he treat her this way?

They had been married for almost two decades! They've been through so many hardships together. She bore his child! A child they raised together! And yet, he just threw it all away with no regards? For some obnoxious little man-whore!?

What did she do wrong? Was it because she wanted to spend time with her friends? Was it because she paid more attention to the reputation of the family? She didn't know what drove the bastard to commit such infidelity with a low-level Imp!! The very thought of it made Stella cry even harder in distress.

This lasted about twenty minutes because when the princess finally came out of the closet🤣, Stolas had left. Sniffling, she stepped out onto the balcony, the same balcony where Blitzø had tried to sneak off after sleeping with her husband. Her closest friends since her teen years hadn't spoken to her since that time their get together was interrupted by the home wrecking Imp.

She was alone.

"Are you done with your tantrum, Stella?"

Stella jolted in surprise at Stolas' voice erupting from behind her. She turned around to see that he had a look of annoyance, dissatisfaction, disappointment and strangely enough, concern.

"It wasn't a tantrum, I just wasn't in the mood all of a sudden that's all." She tried sounding sincere so that Stolas would just take that as an answer and leave her alone.

"Quite unfair of you, fleeing from a game you initiated yourself my dear" he wrapped his arms around Stella's waist and nuzzled her neck gently.

"Pretty unfair of you too, whispering someone else's name during said game." She blurted. Her husband froze, as if he had never heard those words before in his life.

"Pardon?" He growled, releasing his wife in order to keep himself from losing his temper.

Stella was just about to respond when a mysterious voice rang through the room. It sounded like terrible Latin. Obviously whoever was speaking didn't know the language outside a Google translate app.

Stolas didn't wait another moment. He bolted out the room, clearly excited to see who it was. Stella sighed and somberly stalked after her husband.

Stella didn't know what was more shocking, the fact that a human was in their ballroom, or the fact that Stolas had let it in! Just when he couldn't possibly be any more inconsiderate he rises to the occasion.

There were a few exchanges of words, Stella wasn't really listening until she suddenly heard the name that she loathed more than anything.

She remained quiet as her husband began spouting such lewd comments about Blitzø like he always does.

"Okay..." the human, now identified as 'Jessamine', spoke. "And where would I find this Blitzø?"

Something about her voice indicated that she might not have been on good terms with the Imp. In fact, her tone sounded murderous. Then it hit her. This human appears to have homicidal plans for Blitzø, so she shouldn't have a problem taking care of the one element standing between Stella and her husband.

After Stolas left to greet Via's friend, the princess took this opportunity to offer the human some assistance.

"You can find Blitzø in the horned building next to the 'Imp City' sign..."

After disguising Jess and letting her out a secret exit in the wardrobe, Stella couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. Relief for herself and relief from the Imp who destroyed her marriage. All she had to do was wait.

"Stella?" Stolas greeted as she entered the recreation room. "Did you send the you-know-what back where it came from?"

Stella sighed calmly.

"Yes hon, I took care of it..."
