Stephanie's POV

I opened my eyes

I was sprawled in the hospital bed

I recognized the frizzly blond hair beside me

Luis

I looked at my surrounding

Megan was there

She was staring at something outside the window

I tried to get up

I couldn't

I was too weak I couldn't move

I called Megan

"Megan.."

She didn't seem to hear me

"Megan.."

She looked left and right, then her eyes shifted to me

She was startled

"Stephanie!!!"

Luis woke up and looked at me

"Thank god!"

She rushed towards me and kissed my forehead repeatedly

Luis brushed my hair to the side

"How are you feeling?"

I swallowed the lump on my throat

Why isn't Royce here?

"My right arm and my legs hurt so bad"

She looked at me symphatetically

"You broke your arm and your legs"

I took the moment

Then tears started rolling down my cheeks

Luis wiped the tears off my face

"I'll take care of you, I promise"

He was kissing me

I wanted push him away but I was too weak

"Stop.."

He ignored me and carried on what he was doing

He was trying too hard

I wanted to cry

Royce's POV

The nurse walked towards me and rubbed my arm

"She has been here since yesterday.. Her parents still doesn't know about this. We tried to contact them but we couldn't reach them. Are you her brother?"

What?

Yesterday?

I wiped my tears off and immediately stood up

Then I neared the dead body

It wasn't her

Thank you god

"Where.. where is Stephanie??"

She was confused

"Stephanie?"

"Yes, the girl who got hit by a truck. I'm sure they brought her here earlier"

"Oh"

She smiled and escorted me to another room

"Is she okay?"

"Well, she was unconscious. But now.. I'm sorry I don't know. I wasn't assigned to her"

I nodded

"I understand. Thank you so much"

She smiled and nodded

I turned the doorknob and was utterly awestricken when I looked at her

What the hell

She was laying on the bed

And there was this asshole kissing her

At the same time, a dark haired girl in the room was staring at me

She was as surprised as I was

"Royce Parker?"

Her jaw dropped

Seriously?

That guy looked at me

Confused

I walked towards him and pulled him away from her

I pulled his collar

"Who the fuck do you think you are?!"

I pushed him towards the wall and clenched my fist

Ready to throw my punch into this asshole's face

"Royce.."

Stephanie called

I released my grip and neared her

She was crying

I felt my heart aching looking at her like that

She broke her legs and her arm

I held her face

"I'm sorry.. I'm so so sorry"

I kissed her forehead

"I'm sorry I didn't get to wear that dress"

Tears rolled down my cheeks

I kissed her entire face repeatedly

Oh I missed her so much

"It doesn't matter"

She smiled

She was still so beautiful

"I missed you so much"

She cried

"I missed you so much more. I thought I was going to lose you. I love you so much Stephanie"

I grabbed her other hand and kissed it repeatedly

I didn't care about the two other person in that room with us

"Royce"

The asshole spoke

He pulled my shirt

"Don't you fucking dare touch her"
