Royce's POV
Magenta bailed me out
She was really mad at me
She just wouldn't stop babbling about how I was such an embarassment to our family
"Why did you hit that guy? Seriously! What's your deal? You can't just knock.."
I cut her off
"For god's sake, Magenta! I'll pay you back for all the money you used to bail me out ok?"
"I don't care about that money, Royce! I'm worried about you! You've never done something like this before. What is wrong with you.."
I made the 'zip it' hand gesture
"Just, let me do what I want to to. This is my life. You have no idea what happened, you don't need to know. Please.. Magenta. Mind your damn business. Please understand. I've never tried to stick my head into your problems, right? So if you please?"
She looked at me angrily
"I am your sister! I am responsible to.."
"Magenta, I know that. Yes you are my sister, but please. Just let me decide what I want to do. I'm sorry okay!? I promise I'll pay the money back to you. And thanks for bailing me out"
She looked ahead
She was quiet
We then arrived at the hospital
When I opened the door
She suddenly spoke
"You don't have to pay me back.."
She rubbed my back
"I'm sorry.. I was just worried sick about you.. I'll tell Jerico to get your car and send it back to your house"
I nodded
Jerico was my older brother
Her lips formed into a small smile
I touched her hand
"I'm the one who should apologize. I'm sorry"
I smiled and then rushed into the hospital
I approached the registration
"Sir, are you here for the girl..."
"Yes.. yes.. where is she????"
She looked at me symphatetically and asked a nurse to bring me to Stephanie
She was laying on a stretch bed in the corpse room
But it didn't stink
The room smelled like hand sanitizer
The nurse walked inside then stopped as she reached the stretcher of a female body
No...
She was covered with this white thin blanket
Fully covered
The nurse pulled the blanket, only exposing her face
My heart broke into pieces
I fell on my knees
I burst into tears
I'd rather die than to see her like this
