Chapter 17

Royce's POV

Oh god

Maybe it's a mistake

Maybe it was somebody else

Maybe it was a coincidence

Maybe that woman has the same handbag and cellphone like Steph's

Maybe they had the same ringtone

I sent a text to her

"askjdlsjk"

Then that phone beeped

I ran towards the driver of the truck and punched him in the face

"You asshole!!!!!"

I knocked him over

He looked at me, looking sorry

"Where is she, you fucking bastard!?"

The policemen pulled me away from him

"Where is she!!??"

That guy stood up

"She's at the hospital.."

"You have to calm down sir or we'll have to arrest you for assault"

I was crying

"What the fuck do you mean? That asshole"

I pointed at him

"Hit my girlfriend with his goddamned truck!"

I sprinted towards him

I knocked him down again

The police officers took hold of me

"Ahhh"

He cupped his face with his hands

"I'm gonna kill you! I swear I'm gonna kill you!"

They immediately cuffed my hands and pushed me into the police car

I was boiling with anger

I sat in that car for two long hours

I  gave the driver of the truck a death stare

I'm definitely going to kill him

No matter what

My instict tells me he did it on purpose

And that this 'accident' has something to do with Samantha

He was brought to the station too

For the first time

I finally get to feel what it was like to be locked in the prison

I missed the Show

Fuck it

I was crying the whole time

I prayed a thousand times,

Hoping that Stephanie was still alive

I can't lose you Stephanie

Please don't go

I love you so much

The police station was so noisy

And it smelled like pee

I called out one of the police officer

And asked them if I could use the phone

They took all my things

Surprisingly, I was allowed to

I called my oldest sister, Magenta

And she answered it

"Hello?"

"Bail me out"
