Crystal's Chronicles, a Pokémon: Aura Warriors Story

First Time?

Fast forward a year later, Crystal and Riolu were being sent to a boarding school in Kalos's Lumiose City. Lumiose Academy, that is! It's a very prestigious school for young Trainers alike. 

Crystal got to her homeroom in her red, white, and blue uniform. Goosebumps riddled her, as she had a noticable cold sweat. A teacher was sitting there with her red hair, black dress, and thick-rimmed glasses. She had a coffee mug that reads: 'Kalos's Best Teacher."

Other kids were looking at the nervous newcomer, but they had an expression that read: "Sit the hell down already."

"Good morning, class," the teacher called out to her students. "I'm Mrs. Bijou, and I'll be your teacher." *beat* "We have a new student today, so give a big, warm, Lumiose Academy welcome to Crystal Sapphirwitz."

Crystal stood up in front of the class. "I-I'm Crystal, and I'm from the Sapphire Kingdom. my favourite Pokémon is Lucario, even though I don't have one, and I was b-b-born in royalty. I-I'm also a member of the Aura People."

Silence filled the room. She went back to her seat; she started sweating nervously. 

Mrs. Bijou announced with a smile on her face, "Today is Career Day! I want everyone to tell me what you want to be when you grow up, ladies and gentleman."

Kids raised their hands, calling out names of professions. "Doctor!," "Pokémon scientist!," "Lawyer!..."

"Crystal," Mrs. Bijou coaxed her. "Why don't you tell us what you want to be when you grow up?"

"Queen of the Sapphire Kingdom...?"

The students burst into laughing, pointing fingers at her. 

"Are you gonna ride a horsey?"

"Queen of the Sapphire Kingdom? That dream is for babies!"

Crystal ran out of class, crying to herself from all the teasing and name-calling. (Damn. Children can be so brutal.) 

Another student, Kirito Kodora, sat there, lowkey kinda hurt at the bull crap that said newcomer had to put up with on her first day. He rolled his garnet eyes, looked at his garnet gem on his necklace, and thought, 'Isn't that something? Picking on the new guy/girl, eh? I understand that we children can be brutal, but damn.' He just sat there, wondering how his life here would be if students found out he was a descendant of the Aura people.
