Scarlets POV (sorry for any spelling grammar or word choice mistakes enjoy)

Unfortunately even though yesterday was my birthday today is school.

I groan as I get up wanting to strangle the person who had invented alarm clocks and then decided to put them into your phone.

I do my usual routine and get in Matteos car waiting for him and Shyanne. A few moments late Shy comes in the car. Now all that's left is to wait for Matteo who is taking for fucking ever.

"Finally" I groan as Matteo jumps into the driver's seat.

He starts the car and then speaks up

"We're picking up Cole today." Shy then yelled shotgun and jumped into the front seat next to Matteo meaning I'll have to sit next to him.

I roll my eyes and sigh

"Someone's a bit grumpy today" shy giggles.

I just grumble while Matteo joins shy in laughing at me while in our way to Coles house

Once we get there Matteo honks then horn and I see Cole casually walk down the driveway of the massive mansion and gets into the car.

"Hey angle nice to see you again" I scoff pretending I'm not effected but the pink dust that settles across my cheeks betrays me.

I turn to face my window and  away from Cole.

School had just ended and Matteo said that he had to stay after for some sport or something and had invited Shyanne to watch which she quickly and gladly accepted. Leaving me to wait as well but I had started to make my way to the library instead.

Suddenly I was yanked back by my arm.

A group of guys surrounded me.

The ring leader pushed me up against the wall of the building.

"Get your slimy ass hands off me." I growl out.

"You'll love this cupcake." He purred seductively

"Let go of me you walking STD." I yelled as he started to touch me but once I yelled that he slapped me.

He then started to unzip his pants then I screamed.

"RAPE" I yelled as loud as I could with tears coming to my eyes.

"What the fuck is going on here" I heard a voice demand.

I look to see Cole standing there.

All the guys had fled in terror while my attempted rapist stood there glaring.

"Leave now" Cole said as he pulled out a gun and pointed it at the guy. His voice deadly with a cold look in his eyes.

"You'll regret that Moretti" the guy said and stormed off.

Once he left Cole put his gun back into his waistband where it was before.

He then turned to me

"You ok" Cole asked while slowly approaching me.

I shook my head no and launched myself into his arms sobbing. I usually had control of every situation I'm in but In this I felt helpless.

"Shh it's ok angel it ok I'm here now" Cole said as he smoothed my hair down.

Cole then called his brother to pick us up while hunter also came considering they were coming from work.

Cole had asked if I wanted him to tell Hunter and I nodded yes not wanting to have to tell him myself. Hell not wanting to admit or ever relive or revisit that memory again.

So that's what Cole did once we got picked up.

When Cole had told hunter and Luciano to say they were pissed is an understatement.

Luciano had drove hunter and I home.

Cole said he'd also stay if I needed him.

Hunter immediately embraced me promising to kill the guy who tried to touch me.

We had spent the rest of the day snuggling on the couch eating ice cream and watching movies trying to make me feel better.

Though I don't think I'll ever fully recover after what almost happened.

Cole had been there the whole time trying to make me feel better too.

He ended staying over for the night to stay and comfort me.

"Thank you" I mumbled as he tucked me into bed and was getting ready to go home.

"No problem."

He said and left with the promise of seeing me tomorrow.

This past week Cole and I have been becoming closer with him making the occasional remark to make my cheeks ablaze.

I was slowly getting better after what had happened on Monday.

But something changed in the way Cole and I act towards each other like there's a uneasiness of something that is not being said.

Cole and Luciano has stayed over for dinner and things were going well.

Cole had wished me a good night and I had head upstairs to my room.

With the following thought after Cole had left and I was drifting off I realized I had feelings for Cole Moretti
