Scarlets POV (as usual sorry for any grammar spelling or word choice mistakes. Enjoy)

"Hey you coming" Maggie asks as the girls start to exit my room once we were done

"Yea" I say half paying attention

"I'll talk to her. You guys go we'll meet you downstairs in a few." I hear Alara say

"Look I'm not good at this feelings stuff but I do know that if you wait until the very last moment things might not turn out the way you want. I should know." This got me interested.

"What do you mean"

"Look if you tell anyone I will deny it and then hurt you when no ones looking." She sighs "The day Shy got together with Matt I was going to tell him I liked him. I wanted to hate Shyanne like I could anyone else but I just couldn't. I've kept my mouth shut because I don't want to hurt her. She reminds me to much of Maggie." Alara sighs.

"Oh." I whisper "well if you two were meant to be together then you will. And I'm always here if you want to talk. I've never had someone to talk to about this stuff before, before you shy and Maggie so thank you" I breathe out.

"Yeah whatever" she grumbles but has a light and genuine smile.

"You ready now" she asks

"Course" I smile knowing exactly what I would do before the night is done.

Once we arrive I don't even have time to relish in the places beauty before of his house before I start my search for Cole.

Spending an hour to do so might I add.

Annoyed and a bit confused I spot Luciano

"Luciano do you know where Cole is" I ask

"He's held up in his room moping about you. It's on the second floor. Take the left and not the right and he's the third door on the right." Luciano winked as a good luck and left

I follow his instructions but I see Cole in the hallway with a girl stroking his arm.

"Scarlet" he whispers.

"Yeah" I say with a lot of attitude and storm off.

"Tell Alara I say hi" she said snakily.

I grumble and go to see Alara

"Thanks you just had to jinx me" I growl at Alara

"What the hell do you mean" she bites back

"Some girl was hitting up Cole. Why did you have to be right." I say annoyed

"Fuck." She says and looks at me apologetically

"Stupid Rosa. She's my bitchy cousin and likes to hurt the people I know so I end up alone. Also she's wanted Cole for as long as I can remember. Don't let her win." She told me.

"Alright well she won't win" I say with a look of determination

I walk back up those stairs and see Rosa and Cole together while he's trying to push her off.

"He's said no ,now bye bitch." I say and push her roughly off. She gets up and goes to punch me. I dodge but barely cuz her ring slices my cheek.

"Get outta here" Cole growled and her. She does and Cole turns to me.

"Scarlet I-I thought" he started before I cut him off

I leaned up and crashed our lips together leaving him shocked and non responsive.

Just as I'm about to pull away he starts to respond and we pull away a little later before things get to heated.

"I thought you were mad" Cole whispers while tucking a piece of my crimson hair behind my ear.

"I was. Then I talked to Alara"

"I'm sorry I was just coming down to find you. And she just stopped me."

"I-it's fine. I just didn't want it to be to late" with that said he presses our foreheads together and we sit there soaking up each others presence for a few minutes.

I then move my head to his chest and wrap my arms around his midsection.

"Come on let's go to my room to get you cleaned up" he does as he had told me and we enter his room.

I laugh slightly when I see his room. Instead of the typical dark colors he has a light grey with accenting whites

"What" he asked hearing my laugh

"I thought you'd have the typical dark colors in your room. But I like it" he smiled lightly at me and lead me to his bed that had a black comforter and cream colored sheets.

He sits down and pulls me onto his lap.

"Hi" I say nervously

He then cleans my cheek with a first aid kit he had in his bed side drawer kisses my cheek.

"Nothing to be nervous about angel nothings going to happen. At least not now ok. Maybe in a few years but not now. Not until you're sure" he says with one arm wrapped around my waist and the other smoothing down my hair in reassurance.

And that's how we spent most of our night. Cuddled up in his bed just talking and occasionally sharing a kiss.

Eventually we had to head downstairs and greet everyone.

The night turned out well and now I'm regretting that he has to leave tomorrow.

Today is the day I dread because Cole and I had finally connected and could have had something great. But he's leaving and I'm staying.

I was the first one up and the one who had the least amount of sleep. The evidence was clear on my face.

After getting dressed and having breakfast We head over to Coles.

While talking to his mom who held Lilly she told me he was still in his room packing.

I walk up and knock on his door.

He opens it and embraces me in a hug.

"I don't want you to go" I say a tear dripping down my cheek.

"Hey no tears. Please" he whispers

"But we just-I mean" I don't even know where to begin

"I know" he says placing a kiss on my lips

"I'll wait for you" I whisper truth lacing my statement.

" Well text when as often as we can but I'm not sure how much that will be. And of course I'll wait for you too" he said us cuddling until the moment he had to go.
