Chapter 11: Captive

The woman looked confused, and both men excused her. They both turned to each other.

"So? Should we send someone to get him?" Virgil inquired.

"That and then take Remy to go get tea?" Roman asked.

"Fine." Virgil replied while getting his phone and calling up someone.

Emile sobbed into his pillow. He felt so lonely and depressed. Patton has been gone for almost 2 weeks, and no signs of him.

Patton was always the nice kid at school, and Emile only had a few friends including Patton. He basically lost his best one though.

He heard the doorbell ring, he didn't feel like opening it. His mother had been more stressed and angry since Patton had gotten kidnapped, and this only upset Emile more.

His dad was in the hospital, and Patton was taken. All he had was his mother and even she was a worse person.

The doorbell rang once more, yet still Emile ignored that.

The doorbell continued to ring over and over, and a loud knocking was heard.

Emile walked down the stairs, rubbing his eyes to get rid of the tears, he inhaled then put on a fake smile before opening the door. "Hi Mo-"

Their was a loud metal thunk and he blacked out.

Emile woke up, he was blindfolded but didn't have tape over his mouth, so he could talk easily "H-hello..?" He asked, scared. It was dark and felt cold here.

It was a terrifying silence then all of a sudden he heard a crash, he yelped then started to shake out of fear. He heard steps shuffle near him.

He couldn't move, and just squirmed, he was tied up in a chair, and was close to sobbing.

He then heard footsteps shuffling more closer, they were walking towards him..

He then felt the blindfold come out, and a boy was drinking something and had a black leather jacket, white shirt, and black torn jeans.

The leather jacket boy looked up from his tea and held a peace sign "Sup bitch."

"I-"

"What happened?!" Remus choked out in between sobs.

"Virgil and Roman, one of them pulled me while the other burned my face." Janus said, more pissed at Roman than Virgil.

Remus felt Janus' anger and was probably ten times more upset.

"I swear I'll kill them." Remus murmured.

Janus sighed, "Where's Logan?"

"Logan! Oh shit-" Remus replied while getting up from the hug and running out of the room.

"Lo! Wanna see your father?" Remus announced.

Logan nodded and got up, walking into the hospital room, his eyebrows rose with surprise when he saw his father.

"What happened?" He asked, surprisingly calm.

Janus didn't know what to say, and quickly made up a lie "A robber came and when I tried to call the police they grabbed the tea kettle and let the steam out."

It wasn't technically a lie, just a small one.

Logan inquired more, and as the conversation went on Janus went deeper into the lie. Such as their appearance, what they did, etc.

"And did you know them?" Logan asked.

"No- Where is Patton?" Janus replied.

"In the waiting room-"

"I want to speak with him." Janus interrupted.

"Of course, I hope you get well, Father." Logan said while leaving the room, he walked over to Patton, "My Father would like to talk too you."

'Father..?' Patton thought internally, but stood up, "Okay!" He replied with a smile and took his new bear with him.

The cheerful boy walked into the hospital room. "Hello?"

Janus looked up and smiled softly as if like a father to a son. "Thank you."

Patton smiled more, "I'm glad I could help!"

Janus looked at Patton's teddy bear, "Where did you get that?"

"Logan bought it for me! I was so happy!" Patton responded, he was never like this around his own parents.

"That's.. Nice of him." The bed-ridden man said, surprised.

"I think so!" Patton replied while looking at the bear, lost in thought while smiling.

They both stayed quiet, Janus noticing the look and realizing quietly, 'Oh shit.'
