Chapter 6: Friends

Logan walked to the library where his teacher greeted him once more, they resumed their work and soon 3 o'clock came.

"Great job for the day, Logan, have a nice weekend, tell your parents I said hello." Thoms announced while putting his teacher copy of books in his bag.

"Thank you Mr. Sanders, you as well." Logan replied while walking downstairs for lunch.

He passed by his Father's office and heard his parents talking about a mall, 'Ah right. That.'

He made his way to the kitchen, there was no food yet, so he entered in the kitchen hall, the maids and butlers working to make a full course meal. He'd have to wait for awhile and debated whether to knock on the office door or go to his room.

He looked at the door of the office for awhile and was snapped out of his thought when he heard them start talking about Patton.

"I feel bad for him though. His brother was taken away."

"Hey! We took him to a multimillion mansion! Those assholes didn't even take care of their kids."

"We don't know that, Remus."

"Apparently though. Heard from the guy who carried him said he was light."

"Poor kid.." He heard his father say.

Logan walked away and went to his room, before turning away he glanced at the interrogation room where Patton was held in. But decided to ignore it and go to his room.

Logan sat down on his bed while pulling a book by his cabinet then beginning to read while leaning against his wall. He yawned a bit then kept reading.

During his reading he heard a knock at his door "Yes?"

A maid came in and bowed before speaking "Lunch is finished, and your father requested you to join them."

Logan sat up "Thank you, I'll be down shortly."

The maid walked away and left Logan's door open, and he quickly followed and closed it, and made his way downstairs where he saw his parents talking.

"Hello.." Logan said quietly and made his way to his usual seat.

Janus looked up and waved "Hello, Logan."

"Hey Lo! We wanted your opinion on where we should go tomorrow! Here's what I found so far!" Remus said happily while running over and letting Logan see his phone.

The mentioned boy looked up and saw a large outdoor shopping center and looked at the images "This seems adequate for a familial bonding moment."

Janus smiled softly "I agree, how about we leave at 1:30 tomorrow?"

"Casual, right?" Remus asked, head tilted.

Janus walked up and kisses Remus' hand "Of course, my Love."

Remus giggled a bit and turned to Logan "That sound good, kid?"

Logan nodded while eating his lunch.

Remus cheered and sat back down to eat his as well.

The meal was fine, the occasional small talk between the family, and Janus requested a grilled chicken salad bowl.

The maid brought one out and set it near Janus. He then turned to Logan, "Could you please give this to the person in the room?"

Logan internally groaned, but walked up to his father and grabbed the bowl with a silverware pack "Yes, Father."

The brown haired boy walked up rather fast up the stairs, trying to get Patton out of his mind.

Speaking of Patton, the boy was looking around, with the occasional yawn. He was quite bored, and still a bit lonely.
