we were all going out for lunch. i hadn't seen or spoken to harry since our kiss. i think it was best if we kept our distance from each other.

i sat at the table and laughed at the random jokes that were being made by everyone. i looked back and saw harry walk in to the restaurant. "hazza!" connor greeted harry.

"we didn't think you were going to come." olivia smiled.

"well i changed my mind last minute." he stood up. "where can i sit?"

"the only spare seat it next to ariah." beth pointed at the empty seat.

he pulled the seat out, unwrapped the scarf that was around his neck placed it at the back of his chair then sat down next to me. "long time no see." he winked and i playfully rolled my eyes.

"how have you been?" i turned and asked harry.

"i've been good." he nodded his head softly.

"how's emily?" i only asked him how she was only to see if they were still together.

"she's really good. shes practicing because shes got a competitor coming up so she's super busy right now."

i was day dreaming and i thought back the first day harry and i met when we shook our hands. when our hands touched and we looked up at each other and held the eye contact, it made me think, there's no way there wasn't something the day we met.

connor offered to pay for all of our meals but i felt too bad letting him pay for all of it so after much convincing, i managed to let me got halves with him. we stood at the til and connor had his hands on my waist. he was really flirty, but i just wasn't feeling it. i could feel harry's eyes burning into me. i looked back and he took a sip of his drink. connor tried to kiss me but i moved my head so he ended up kissing my cheek and he laughed awkwardly. we paid for the food and went back to our seats to get ready to leave.

i sat back down next to harry. "you were really close to connor."

"yeah?" i was confused , it sounded like he had a problem with it.

"nothing." he shook his head and looked behind him.

"mmm.." i hummed.
