i walked down my college halls waiting to bump into a familiar face. i pull my phone out harassing olivia through texts tell her to get her ass down to this college now because i have no body.
while i was looking down at my phone i jumped into someone. "sorry." i looked up and met eyes with harry who had his hands locked with another girls.
"ariah!" he exclaimed "what are you doing by yourself? where's olivia?"
"i-," i stuttered "shes- i don't know." i shrugged my shoulders and laughed awkwardly.
"who's this hunny?" the tall blonde girl asked harry.
"oh, this is ariah... shes the girl that olivia asked all of us to meet yesterday." harry shook his head.
"oh my god yes!" the girl laughed "i'm emily." she took her hand out for me to shake.
"this is my girlfriend of five years." harry told me. i don't know why but i felt disappointed even though i had only met him yesterday and we exchanged about 10 words to each other.
"oh," i bit the inside of my cheek out of nerves "do you know where olivia is?"
"nope, but you can sit with us, can't she harry?" emily looked at harry.
"of course she can." he smiled showing off his dimple.
emily locked arms with me "i'm so happy i finally get to meet you!" she squealed.

i sat in the dining hall with olivia "no one told me harry had a girlfriend." i cleared my throat.
"yeah he does. she couldn't meet you yesterday because she does competitive ice skating. she's really sweet though."
"oh that's interesting." i raised my eyebrows.
"she's really nice, i feel like you guys would get along really well."
"she mentioned they've been together for about five years, they seem really happy together." i tried to get more information out about this relationship without make it obvious i was asking questions.
"they are. they're so cute as well."
