Rayla woke up to a drop on her nose. She shook her head and looked around for Shadow, he was still sleeping like he had been a wolf for all his life. Rayla padded outside and heard some noise coming not to far away, she recognized a young boy's voice. "EZRAN!" Rayla howled for him, knowing he could understand animals as he was like Snow White but better.
"Huh?" Ezran turned his head in Rayla's direction. "EZRAN, oh my gosh how glad I am to see you!" Rayla jumped onto Ezran giving him joyful licks
"Rayla? What happened to you!? We've been looking for you for 2 years!" Ezran took her into his arms and sparks flew around them. Ezran opened his eyes to the Rayla he knew.
"Ezran, thank you" she admired her hands and legs. "But how will I remember to walk?"
"It comes and goes, it's like being a baby at first" he said and helped her to her feet, where she gained her walking abilities instantly.
"This is amazing, it's great to be back!" "It's great to have you back!" He said, "Callum's forgotten you, or he's really sad, because he can't remember you or just doesn't talk about you since he loves y- me, he loves me" Ezran gave a pause and continued his sentence.

I walked to the gate of the school and found a purple ribbon, seemed to have been cut off the fence in the yard in the building. I picked it up and saw the boy in whom I returned the phone to.
"Oh hey! Callum right?" He looked up at me with his glowy eyes all confused. "Oh! Hi," he put away his phone and walked towards the gate. "Y/n right?"
"The only" I laughed. "What brings you around here?"
"Oh..I lost my brother while he wanted to go to the Nature reserve we have around here." "That's a pain. I know the struggled since I have 2 brothers and an older sister." I laughed awkwardly remembering all the times we went on each other's turfs.
"Well, my brother has school starting on September 5th which isn't too far away." He said picking up a rose.
He handed it to me, "I'll expect to see you around town, Junior officer" he gave me a salute and walked off in the direction he was heading originally.
It's almost Halloween, heard there's a "Fright Night" event going on I thought to myself.
Must be exciting...
