McCall Estate, Beacon Hills.

Days had gone by with no progress. They called everyone they could. Derek Hale wouldn't make it in time; where he is was a story for another day. Jackson and Ethan thought it was wise to stay off this time. The Nogitsune killed Ethan's twin Aiden last time it was free and Ethan wasn't ready to relieve the experience. They were backed to a corner with little manpower to fight the threat that came towards them. Wolves were stronger together.

Hayden changed her position on the couch. She sat next to him, avoiding Liam. They all stayed up through the night trying to create a solid plan. The battle for them would be on a defensive note and Beacon Hills was their home. Everyone was asleep except for Isaac. He couldn't take his eyes off the maps and piles of paper on the table.

Stiles made everything digital, so he had access to it on his iPad, but nothing could defeat the feeling of holding maps that showed how much territory you were about to lose. They were staying put and waiting for their enemy like lowly lambs.

They were wolves, werewolves. Running was not an option but dying shouldn't be either. Isaac read all about Jax Norman. Stiles had gathered all the intel he could, using his connections in the FBI. He opened the file again on his iPad, making it the fourteenth time he was doing so. By this time he was sure he could recite it by heart, but Jack was not their enemy, not in the slightest.

From his memory of what happened to the Stiles, after possession, the Nogitsune took over full control of a person's actions. Not only that, it had memories from its previous host. It has multiple experience to learn from. Isaac could not help but admit they did not know enough.

Isaac finished reading the file again and jumped to check his mail. He hoped for a surprise anything to help them survive this. He prayed Derek had found a way or Ethan had change his mind about coming to help, but he was disappointed.

However Isaac received mail from Noshiko, Kira's mother. He never really trusted her since the day he found out she sermoned the Nogitsune. Her Onis also pulled a fast one on him once that still gave him nightmares. After giving it some thought, Isaac opened the mail.

The message had a lot of pictures which he could tell were descriptions to a place. It was a picture code. There pictures of buildings road as and a woman visibly in her fifties. Noshiko avoided using words, but he understood. At the end of the series of photographs was the note 'a thousand years strong'.

Isaac's eyes widen in surprise as he processed the message. This woman was over a thousand years old. He knew Kitsunes had a long life span, but that was a lot to process. Light crept into the room until it was dawn. He tapped Hayden.

"Wake up," he whispered.

She whined and moved her body on the couch, but didn't open her eyes.

"Stiles, wake up." Isaac tried to eke his voice down, but it wasn't working.

"Alright everybody wake up!" Isaac yelled, and they all opened their eyes.

"What happened? Is the Demon here?" Stacy asked, sleepily.

She refused to go home and insisted on helping. Isaac respected she was confident, even while young. She had spunk, like Erica used to.

"We need to go somewhere," Isaac announced, standing up.

He put up the pictures, which he downloaded and deleted all traces of the mail on the enormous screen in the room.

"Who is that?" Stiles was awake now.

"This Kitsune is over a thousand years old, Noshiko said she can help us."

"My mom?" Kira asked for confirmation.
