Johnny drove fast down the highway not going in a direction mark recognized.

"johnny? Where are we going?" mark said squeezing johnny's waist.

"I wanna show you something." Johnny answered as he sped up on an empty road.

The sun was setting, a dark blue washing over the sky, the bright moon showing clearly.

They drove for another fifteen minutes until johnny stopped.

Mark looked around and saw nothing, just grass fields and the dirt road they were on.

They got off the bike and mark scanned his surroundings.

"where are we?" mark asked.

Johnny smiled taking in a big breath of fresh air.

"look up." johnny said not answering mark's question.

Mark looked up into the sky and gasped loudly.

He could see millions and millions of stars littering the sky, the constellations popping out against the deep blue almost black sky. He could see the edge of the milky way, a huge cluster of light blues and greens mixing in the sky. His eyes widened as the moonlight reflected off his eyes.

"come on." Johnny said softly grabbing marks wrist. He led him into the grassy field, only now mark discovered it wasn't just grass, it was lavender. The whole field flourishing with the bright purple buds, them looking bluer under the moonlight.

"woah." Mark said in a whisper as he looked at the endless field of lavender.

"johnny it's... it's beautiful!"

Johnny walked until he was standing in front of mark.

"No Mark, You're beautiful." Johnny placed his fingers under marks chin and lifted his face into the moonlight, his eyes shining.

Mark was shocked at what johnny just said. He couldn't seem to say anything, he just stared into johnny's deep eyes, his heart beating fast.

Mark took a step forward, his feet almost touching johnny's.

"you know that there are more stars in your eyes than there are in the sky? Your eyes are so pretty mark.

Mark swallowed, his hand moving to johnny's face. He tucked a piece of johnny's long bangs behind his ear before resting his hand on johnny's cheek.

"johnny, I know we just met but, but I feel weird...like I've known you all my life." Mark's voice was low and gentle as if he were afraid to say this.

Johnny brushed his thumb over marks chin moving it down his jawline.

"mark?" johnny said with an almost desperate twang in his voice.

"yeah?" mark said his breath short.

"can I kiss you?"

The question surprised mark but his body answered for him. He nodded his head it slowly lifting towards johnny's. johnny grabbed mark's waist with his other hand and pulled him into his hold, placing his lips on mark's kissing him softly. They both closed their eyes, marks hands moving to rest around johnny's neck. Johnny kept his hand on mark's cheek, his fingers resting behind his ear, his thumb brushing mark's light sideburns.

As soon as their lips met mark felt a spark in his heart. He leaned into johnny kissing him back his body being pulled forward as Johnny's strong arm wrapped around his small waist.

When they broke apart mark was a blushing mess. He was slightly out of breath his hands still around johnny.

Johnny bit his bottom lip fluttering his eyes open to look into mark's glistening eyes.
