Johnny panicked. He quickly shook mark's shoulder trying to wake him.

"mark! Mark baby wake up!" he yelled as he shook his unconscious boyfriend.

"shit! Okay okay hang on." Johnny felt his heart beating out of his chest as he scooped mark up bridal style and raced out of the school he ran to the corner and hailed an oncoming taxi.

"to the nearest hospital quickly!!" johnny said as he held mark's limp body against him.

The taxi driver quickly sped to the hospital as quick as possible and didn't charge johnny for the ride. Johnny graciously thanked him before running into the hospital frantically calling for help.

A group of nurses ran in placing mark on a stretcher. They wheeled him though big gray doors into the ER. Johnny wiped tears from his eyes as he clicked on donghyuck's contact. He bit back more tears as he placed the phone to his ear.

"did you find him?"

"donghyuck come to the hospital." Johnny's voice wavered as a lump formed in his throat.

Donghyuck's breath left his body.

"The hospital!? Why? What happened!?? Is mark okay?!"

"i...I don't know... just come asap okay?"

"I'm on my way!" donghyuck race out of the dorm not even bothering to change out of his pajamas and house slippers. He caught a cab and sped to the hospital.

He busted through the front doors and ran into the waiting room immediately spotting a taller man running up to him.

"are you johnny?" hyuck asked his voice unsteady.

"yes."

"what happened to mark?"

Johnny took a breath trying to calm his emotions.

They walked over to the waiting area and sat down on a small couch.

"I don't know why... but I went to see mark and this guy was... beating him up... screaming at him, calling him names and just p..p..punching him! I slammed the guy against the wall and told him so s.. s.tay away from mark. His face is all m..m.. messed up. I think his nose is broken and he has bruises all over his face.

Hyuck's eyes widened his body trembling slightly.

"I punched the dude and told him to leave mark alone... he ran away." Johnny took a deep breath before continuing.

"mark started crying. I held him and he began hyperventilating. I tried to get him to breathe but he started coughing and he told me that... he... he didn't feel good and then he passed out." Johnny's voice cracked as he bit back a sob. He looked at the ground before forcing himself to look at haechan.

His eyes were wet his bottom lip quivering. Suddenly hyuck wrapped his arms around johnny his head buried in the crook of his neck. Donghyuck began to cry into johnny's collar muffling quiet sobs.

Johnny clenched his teeth to prevent his own sobs from coming out as he held the younger boy tightly. He rubbed hyuck's back in a circular motion feeling the same pain as the younger.

"thank you johnny... thank you for being there for him..." hyuck's voice quivered as his breath was hot against johnny's neck.

"don't thank me donghyuck... I should've been there earlier, if I had been, maybe...maybe I could've stopped it..."

Hyuck wiped his eyes and rose off johnny's chest.

"you can't blame yourself for this Johnny, how would you have known?"
