Ch. 1 "Beginning"

Shadow POV

Right now I'm in the enchanted Forest with a new friend I met a few months ago, I guess I should introduce myself,

They call me shadow but that's not my real name,

No my Real Name is Kai, I've never really known my real parents not their names who they are nothing,

So I learned from a very early age there is no one you can depend on except yourself,

I may be fifteen but I'm a very skilled one,

Thievery, swordsmanship, escaping, I'm good at it all, that's why I'm named Shadow, I come and go just like a shadow not leaving a trace,

I have my cloak up my piercing Blue eyes are all you can see,

"You ready lass?" I asked

She nodded we cut down a tree to cut off the queen,

I'm hidden behind the trees Snow is in a tree,

"Worry not it's but a fallen tree," I heard

That's not the queen, I look from behind the tree to see a man, he looks like a prince,

I hide, crap, I thought

I see Snow make it on a horse and ride off, I get up in the trees hopping tree to tree, trying to catch up to her, I see her on the ground with a man on top of her, I land on the horse grabbing her hand and taking off on the horse,

"You can't hide from me! wherever you are I will find you!" The man yelled,

My eyelids slowly flutter open sleeping in a hard cave,

Neverland the place I've called home for sometime now, I slowly sit up, Peter has been on my trail since I've arrived but failed to capture me,

I refuse to be captured again, the last time I did it didn't end well and resulted in me being stuck here,

But there is a plus side to this, I've been stealing from them Every time they lay their heads down to sleep,

I've even managed to steal from Peter Pan himself, a vile of dust in it, I'm sure it's got some sentimental value to,

I managed to steal arrows, daggers all kinds of things from them lets just say they are not happy with me, I thought as I smirked

I grab my quiver and arrows and hook my sword to my waist,

"Time to move my camp," I mumbled

I walked out of the cave, I was walking for some time when I heard walking, I quickly climbed up a tree,

I was perched on a thick branch, I was in a crouching position,

"How much longer?" One boy said

"As long as it takes, pan wants this guy caught," The other boy said

Yeah did I forget to mention they think I'm a boy since I've never let my hood down revealing my long dark hair, so they just automatically assume I'm a boy,

I jump out of the tree landing on one of them where he is face plated in the dirt,

I swipe my ankle under the other boy's ankles making him fall on his back and I punch him in the face, making him fall unconscious,

The boy I landed on stands up, and he charges me, I charge him I do a summersault and wrap my legs around his neck and throw him to the ground,

giving me enough time to make a run for it,

I have to say Neverland sure does keep you on you're toes,
