"Grimsley, you need to leave. I can't do anything with Zarik snapping at me whenever I even make a move towards Accalia."

"I have him under control, promise. We don't want to leave her side. Not after everything we just put her through."

"That's not the issue, Grimsley. The issue here is Zarik growling at Luca every time we try to touch even a inch of Accalia's skin. Don't make me have mother take you out of the room and sit in waiting room. I shouldn't have even let you in here since you aren't medically trained."

"C'mon Marshall. I'll get Zarik to calm down. Just let us stay here with her."

"Can't do Grimsley. Sorry. As soon as I'm done stitching her wounds I'll let you back in."

"But-no buts Grimlsey. You might be the alpha out in the battlefield but I'm the alpha in the hospital and unless Accalia personally asks for me to let you stay, than I have to ask you to leave so then I work on her in privacy."

"Marshall. She is my mate. I fucked up, I'll be fucking up again by leaving her side Now let me stay."

I let out a groan which causes both Grimsley and I'm assuming Marshall to turn around and look at me. I recgonize Marshall from the high school, while we never interacted he was one of the few people who would at least acknowledge me; even if it was just a smile. I've noticed how Marshall always seems to be with the science students or has his head buried in a book despite the amount of girls constantly trying to get his attention. During gym class I noticed he would hide out underneath the bleachers by himself and just watch the rest of the class; coach never seemed to care.

"Accalia...you're awake." I first hear Grimsley and turn around to look at him. His hair was a mess, falling in all different directions and some strands falling into his eyes, almost looking at though they were going to poke him in the eye. The second thing I notice is the teeth marks in his ear; the missing cartilage. The skin had grown back on it but now the tip of it was shredded and sharp looking; like a wolf ripped out his ear.

"Heh, ya...that. The rogue took a good piece out of Grimsley. But don't worry, he still has his hearing so he can't be excused for not listening." Marshall's higher-pitched voice cuts me out of my daze and I look over at him. He's wearing a doctor's coat and scrubs along with a stethoscope around his neck and a mask down on his chin.

"All of the rogues were taken care of; none of them can hurt you nor anyone else now."

"The red one...when he was holding me down, he kept talking about a woman...or maybe two women? Something about how they wanted me alive for testing and my blood. He also mentioned something about how he was from a pack?"

"A pack? Do you happen to remember the name?" Marshall asks.

"The nearest packs we have are the BloodMoon, Obsidian, and NorthWind packs. Any of them sound familiar?" Asks Grimsley.

"BloodMoon. He kept saying that word over and over again, something about how they'll regret it...whatever it is."

"That would make sense. The BloodMoon pack is known for having the most red wolves in any pack. Although I don't remember them mentioning any of their packmates going rogue," said Marshall.

"That wouldn't be the first time they don't don't alert us. They are known for keeping to themselves often and thinking they're better than us," said Grimsley. "Did he happen to mention a name? Did any of the rogues say a name or anything specific?"

"The red wolf mentioned a name. It sounded like a guy's name. Madrid? Maverick? Something like that." I said.

"Maddox?" Asks Marshall.
