"lonely" Hero x Gender Neutral!reader

This is your first day at The DWMA, you were so excited. The building was so large and beautiful, 'I'm so lucky to go to a place like this!' you thought

Pushing threw crowds of students, you finally made it to the death room and knocked on the door. A man with long red hair, dressed in all black opened the door for you, "Ah, you must be our new student, (y/n)(l/n)."

"Yes, sir. That's me"

"Lord death will want to speak with you."

you enter the room to see a long hallway of red guillotines, at the end was a black platform with a shadowy figure standing on top watching something through a mirror. You got tense, you knew that was lord death in the flesh. 

"Lord death." Said the red-headed man, grabbing the Shinigami's attention. 

"yes, Spirit?" he had a dunny sounding voice

"our new student has arrived" 

You step up on the platform, and gulped. "Hello, Lord Death. My name is-"

"HIYA! WHAT'S UP!" he welcomed joyfully

This wasn't the reaper you expected. You imagined him more scary and tough, but this guy looked like a walking cartoon. 

"My name is (Y/n)(l/n), I'm a weapon." 

"may i ask what kind?"

"a buster sword." you said, tired of the reaper's eccentric nature. "May i have my schedule"

"Of course, Spirit here just needs to write your name, weapon type and hand you a pin"

"Already did, sir." Spirit said as he handed you a paper and pin that said weapon on it. "this is for to befriend any lonely meisters. You'll make a great addition to the school."

You had found your class and knocked on the door. A tall man with grey hair, glasses and a screw threw his head opened the door. "your late and you interrupted my dissection."

"I'm new."

"oh, i see." He turned his screw. He looked down at the student list and sighed, "(Y/N), you can go sit next to hero." 

You turn your head to see a blonde boy sitting in the middle row looking down, it seems as if he was sketching something. 
"Hey." You whispered to him.

He looked at up at you startled. "Hello, you're our new student, right?"

"Sure am, I'm (Y/n)" you say cheerfull, offering your hand to shake.
"I'm hero" he accepted.

"Are you a weapon or a Meister?" Asked Hero.

"Weapon."

"Cool, i'm a Meister. But I never had a partner" he chuckled in embarrassment.

"Is it lonely?" You ask

"Yeah, it gets pretty lonely. Just think about it, a meister in the E.A.T class without a weapon. At this point, I have been labeled the school's little errand boy. I know everything about everyone." He explained

Rubbing your hand on your chin, you thought for a moment. "That does sound lonely. Hey! Why don't we become partners?" You suggested.

"Really?!" He asked in excitement.

"Sure why not." You smiled.

"Thank you."

"No problem."

You turned back to Your teacher who was already lecturing the class. He turned to you. "(Y/n), why don't you show us a demonstration of your weapon form?"

"No problem, sir."

You looked at hero and he nodded. Getting up in front of the class was scary, to be honest. You held Hero's hand, "you ready (y/n)" he whispered.

"Yes but you don't even know what weapon I am!" You whispered back

"I'll manage"

Light emits from your body, it forms into a large blade of (1st fav colour) and (2nd fav colour), you hand a black handle that was wrapped in white bandages.

"Impressive, (y/n), you're a buster sword." Stated Stein.

Your reflection appeared in the blade. "Thank you sir. I have a Miester and Hero is no longer lonely"

Hero gave you a bright smile.
