'Gotta let go, oh oh oh!'
I sang like a mad lady as my girls backed me up.
The crowd was going wild man! Everyone was enjoying the moment!

'Thank you, Mexico!' I yelled and the crowd cheered for us in a wild manner which I DAMN like.

'Thank you... Once again, give it up for the Merits, Mexico!' the speaker man yelled as he came out and we went backstage.

'We nailed it, girls!' I exclaimed as we hugged and screamed at the top of our lungs.

I'm Stacy Melghart, daughter of late Matthew and Janet Melghart. I'm the lead singer and guitarist of the band I came up with called the Merits, and we are seven girls in the group.
I have been in this group since when I was a little girl.
I used the income I get from singing in bars and on the streets to feed my mum and I, cause, my dad's death was just too much for my mum.

I made a promise to my mum that I'll always be a successful person and here I am today.

A Nineteen year old lady that's a multi-millionaire... I mean, who thought they'd be a person like that.

'Okay... Girls, remember our promise...' they all looked at me with the "What is it we need to remember?" Look.

'We need to pray...' I said.
'Oh!' the all shouted and I rolled my eyes

'Gather round' I said and they all gathered round and we prayed.

'And the final results will be coming out on Saturday, so please be a part of it' the speaker man said and the crowd went wild.

'Ok, Stacy, I and the girls will be going to the grocery store, get some stuffs and maybe the mall...' one of my girls, Zee said.
There is Chloe, Merinna, Zoey, Maria, Celia and Zelda who we call Zee.

'Okay, but be back before six, I'll be in the house' I said and they waved at me and left.

I crossed the road and looked back to see if anyone was watching or within sight, then I conered to a place where was hidden but there is a wall covering where I am about to enter.

As I walked in the darkness I caught the sight of the person I came for.

'Hi Sam' I said as I removed my shades.

'Hello, Sarah'

Sam is a close friend of mine. We knew each other since elementary school and we have been friends ever since.

'Looks like a you got some news for me, huh?' I asked.

'Nothing much'

He came closer and stood in front of me, hands in his pockets.

'You guys got new rivals...'
Those words sank in deep.

'And the statues?' I asked
'Oh, they're good alright, they're good' he said and removed his phone from his pocket and started searching for something.

'They're all over the web' he said and played a video.

'They're called the New Boys A.k.a The Sharks'.

I stared at their profile picture on the internet.

'So they are coming to Mexico to reveal their identity or what...?'

'To reveal their talent...'

'Talent....'
I got raged at that word.
I wore my shades and turned to leave.
'Thanks Sam, it's helpful' I said as I left that corner leaving Sam still in that place.

New Boys, huh? More like old boys.

They think they can dominate eveywhere they go to and at any time? Not in my arena!

I held my phone in my hands and texted the girls on group chat.

"Girls, got news. Be back by thirty minutes..."

I sent the message satisfied.
New boys, huh? Yeah, right...
