Inferno POV

In the morning, somebody knocked on my door.

It was a teenager who looked a lot like me, except that I had darker hair and I had black eyes, not sea green ones.

"Hello." I greeted. "I'm Alexander Jackson." He said.

He is my brother? I thought.

Unfortunately, I said that out loud. He then tried to hug me. But then I remembered what he and my mother had done to me when I was in middle school.

Flashback

I was reading a book when my little brother Alex and my mother ran to me.

"Percy's done bad things to me, Mother. He's been attacking me and stealing my stuff." He said.

This wasn't true.

He'd always hated me since the moment he could talk. I didn't know why, but every time I had tried to reason with him, he had refused.

My mother glared at me. "This is enough. I officially disown you. You are no longer my son! Get lost, Perseus Jackson."

Timeskip in the Flashback

It reminded me of my father, William Jackson. He had died when I was eight years old, but he wasn't Alex's father. My mother never said who was his dad.

Over time, I had gotten a great job, and I made enough money to buy myself a house. I got my drivers license, and I had a good life.

Flashback Over

I pushed him away and I glared at him. "Get lost." I snarled. "Look, I'm sorry for-"

"Shut up, and don't think I've forgotten what you did to me, Alex." I growled. I spit out his name with venom and distaste.

Mystique walked next to me. "What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing. It's just my pathetic half-brother." I snarled. She put an arm around me and kissed me on the cheek.

My brother looked a bit jealous. He stormed off.

I smiled at my girlfriend.
