Inferno POV

After they left, I decided to take Mystique on a date.

I decided on London.

I knocked on the door to Mystique's door. She answered the door and smiled at me. "Yes?" I smirked.

"I'm taking you to London." I said. I grabbed her hand, and I teleported the two of us to the capital of the United Kingdom.

Timeskip

When we arrived, we saw two African-looking men arguing. One of them was in a pinstriped suit and a fedora, and the other one was also in a suit.

"No." One of them said. "If I don't stop you, Julius, they will. The Per Ankh is shadowing you." I didn't know what the Per Ankh was, but I think that it was Ancient Egyptian for House of Life. That probably had something to do with mythology. It reminded me of the Greek gods.

Zeus, who's ego and arrogance sometimes made him paranoid and jealous of others.

Hera, who spent most of her time cursing her husband's girlfriends.

Poseidon, who was too proud to be the ruler of the seas sometimes.

Demeter, who only cared about making people eat cereal.

Hestia, who usually ignored everyone and just sat tending the hearth.

Hades, who usually just sat in the Underworld, sending his undead minions to do stuff that he could do himself.

Artemis, who thought all males were pigs.

Apollo, who only bragged about himself.

Ares, who only wanted to kill people and to start wars.

Hephaestus, who only wanted to forge stuff and catch Aphrodite cheating on him with his brother.

Aphrodite, who only fangirled over ships.

Athena, who thought she was the smartest. Like her father, she could have a big ego sometimes.

Hermes, who only sent and carried messages.

Dionysus, who spent most of his time sleeping or getting himself drunk.

And that's only the Olympians. Who knows how the minor gods are?

A lot of flaws, isn't it?

Suddenly, somebody dragged us behind a car.

I frowned. There was a boy and a girl. "I'm Sadie, and this is my brother Carter. What's the Per Ankh?" Sadie asked. I shrugged. Carter pointed to the person in the suit. "That's our dad, Julius Kane. I'm not sure who's the other chap, but he looks very familiar."

From her accent, I assumed she was British.

"They don't know what I'm planning," Their dad was saying. "By the time they finally figure it out-"

"And the children?" The other person asked. Carter looked nervous. "What about them?"

"I've made arrangements to protect them." Julius Kane said. "Besides, if I don't do this, we will all be in grave danger. Now, back off, Amos."

"I can't, Julius."

"Then is it a duel that you want?" Julius's tone turned deadly serious. "You could never defeat me, Amos."

Before any of us could do anything, Sadie popped up and shouted, "Dad!"

He seemed to be surprised when his daughter tackle-hugged him, but Amos didn't. He backed up so quickly, he tripped on his own trench coat.
