Who tells your story? {Part 2}

*Time skip to 2:14pm*

Aaron's POV

I was sat down with my daughter in the living room, both of us reading books until I heard some knocking coming from the front door.

"I'll go get it dad!" My daughter said to my hopping off of the sofa and making her way to the front door.

Around 5 minutes later I see Elizabeth Hamilton come into the living room and sitting down next to me on the sofa. I put my book down and face her.

"I'll go get some tea for you two!" Theo says as she leaves the room and heads off into the kitchen.

"I just want to say first off, I'm not mad at you at all...well maybe I'm a bit mad, but that's besides the point. As I'm guessing you know by now, Alex hates slavery and he really wanted to end slavery, but then the thing happened, so I made a promise to him that I would try my hardest to fulfill his dream of that happening, and I know it sounds crazy that were trying to do this bu-"

"Wait, okay I'm really confused why you arent mad at me but that's another story, but what do you mean 'were', who else is helping?" I know its rude to interrupt people but if I dont ask now then I wont get any answers.

"as in me and all my kids, but as I was going to say, would you and Theo help with this? I understand if its alot to ask but I just want an answer from both you and Theo."

After Elizabeth finished speaking that's when Theo came in.

"Wait what's happening? what do you need me for?" I could tell that she would get super into this so I wasnt going to try hide it from her especially when I believe she'll get super into it.

"So you can get mad at me for this part but... I got into a duel with Alexander Hamilton, and... he didnt make it... But as Elizabeth was saying, before Alexander died, he asked her if she could help get rid of slavery how he had planned on doing it, but she only has the help of her children, so she was wonder if we would help." I was expecting for something to happen to me about the duel but ik guessing shes going to speak to me later instead of now.

"I'm in! You know how bad they get treated, so we need to do something about it! Dad, what about you?"

I looked at both of them who had pleading faces on. "I'll do it."

"Okay thank you so much for the tea Theo, and how does right now sound for starting? My children are at home going through his office finding any letters that'll help us figure out what he wanted to do, so if you want to help now..." I could tell that she was desperate to get this done so that there was time and that we would all still be alive for it.

"Yeah we can do it now, you ready Theo?"

"Of course I'm ready dad! Let's go make a change in this world" As soon as Theo finished her sentence she was already out of the door, so me and Elizabeth just followed behind her.

*Time skip back to Hamiltons house*

Theo's POV

As we made it to The Hamilton house, we can see the children in Alexander's office just working away to try and find things. I could hear My dad and Eliza talking behind me, but I couldnt quite understand what they were saying.

Eliza's POV

"I know this might be a bit touch to ask especially since your already doing this, but could you maybe look at your house for any letters that might have any plans, anything that might help us with what Alex wanted to do?"

"Of course I can look for you. If were going to make a change we need to do it properly and look at any and every source we can find." I could tell that Aaron was going to be an amazing person to help me on this journey especially with his daughters strong hatred towards people owning slaves.

As we make our way into the office, I notice that my children had made some piles. There was a pile of letters to me, a pile of letters and plans about what to do about slavery, and a pile of letters he would write to keep himself occupied. I took the pile for me and the ones to keep him occupied and took them upstairs and placed them on my bed before heading back downstairs to help them.

*Time skip to later*

"Well, we really must be going. Thank you so much for having us and we will make our way to yours tomorrow at around 10 ish of that's okay with you?" Aaron and Theo were now leaving after alot of protesting from my children about Theo leaving.

"10 sounds perfect. Have a safe journey home and a lovely evening Mr Burr and Theo" I waved them off as I see them walk off into the distance discussing something that I couldnt hear.

I finally make my way back in, and I see Angie making us all food again. "Thank you for cooking for us again Angie. I really appreciate it"

"Its okay Mom, I know how you must feel especially with Dad not being here." I hugged her side as she continued to cook us food.

*Time skip to around 3 years and 11 months later*

Me and Aaron had finally done it!

We ended slavery in America!

As I walked up to Alex's grave, I had a huge grin on my face.

I placed the flowers on top of his gave and I sat down next to it. "We finally did it Alex. We ended slavery in America thanks to your plans and life is going to be better, I know it. I dont know if you agree with me using your enemy to help the plan, but due to Aaron's high status it actually helped speed up the process. If we wouldve taken a month later it woulve been around the time youd died...isnt that ironic. I know that you were watching over me the whole journey, and because of that it felt like you were actually here helping. I know I havent came here in a while, but we've been extremely busy, and I hope that you and Theo found each other in the afterlife and that Philip's keeping good care of her. I really miss you Alex."

No ones POV

Eliza ended up spending a long time at Alex's grave before heading to see Theo's, Theodosia's and Pilips grave to tell them all the great news. She was sure that both the Theodosia's knew about the win buy Aaron coming to visit them, but it felt amazing to tell them.

Did you like that? Also I know that there is a bigger gap between Theos death and Alex's but that's just how I wanted it to be.
