Y/N WAS COMPLETELY WORN OUT. Now, all she wanted was to plop onto her king size bed and have her unpacked stuff animals consume her body. But Kenma had different ideas in mind.

"Kenma-San, I'm tired. Please let your pudding baby go to bed!" Y/n whined as she followed him up the stairs. "Haha, like the nickname I gave myself? No?"

Kenma gave her an unflattened look, sighing as he continues to walk on. "You're embarrassing," he responds with. "Maybe you should keep your lips sealed, don't want you rambling on about that love life again."

"Let's not talk about my embarrassing events from the past. Please, they still haunt me every night as I go to bed."

"Then maybe you shouldn't have said it."

"..."

It was only her first day, she was way too tired to do shit. Surprisingly, it was easy to get comfortable with him. It had already felt like weeks. With the clock just hitting midnight, Y/n wishes she was in the arms of her non-existent lover, or at least the one in her dreams.

"No," he bluntly responds, rolling his eyes away from her view. "If you want to get paid then do exactly what I tell you."

"So dominant," Y/n teases, now walking right beside him as they enter his room. She forgets their previous conversation with her mood switching up to make fun of the older man. He rolls his eyes once again, ignoring her comment. His led lights bright up the dark room with his gaming set up already turned on. Her eyes glowed up in amazement as she rushes over to his bed and lets out a sigh of relief.

"Kenma-San, your bed is super comfy! Can I sleep here please? My room is too, far away..." she dramatically groans, a hand reaching out to the door. His bed was just around the same size as hers, though just a bit more messy with his manga scattered around.

Kenma shook his head, sighing in disbelief. 'I take it back, I'd rather be lonely than have her as company.'

"Y/n, get your ass here we're going to start our business." he shouted, grabbing another gaming chair out of the corner. He didn't know why he bought two, he had intended on playing with Kuroo sometime, though he was always busy so there was never an opportunity. "You're going to help me feel less lonely, it's what I'm paying you for anyways.. Tonight we're going to be robbing people in Brooke Haven so I can actually feel something or whatever."

"You mean that one role play game on roblox that beat adopt me?" she questioned, pulling out the seat beside him. She ignored the 'less lonely' part, taking it as a joke. "So you're really paying me $700 just for this?"

"If you can stay interesting." he answeres, eyes glued onto the bright, red, glowing screen. "If you get boring, I won't hesitate to drop you."

She nods, unsure if he meant it as a joke. Whether if it was a threat or not, she wasn't sure if she'd be able to meet his expectations.

Sitting down, she crosses a leg over the other and leans back with her hands resting on the keyboard. Glancing over at Kenma, she can tell he's already sucked into the game as the loading screen appears. Scotching closer to him, she softly hums a tune as he starts to move his character around. "You said we're going to rob people, right? How are we supposed to do that?"

Kenma looks over at her in disbelief(once again). "Have you never played roblox before?" he scoffed, his eyes returning back to the game. "Look," he says, grabbing her hand and placing it on the mouse. He pushes the keyboard close to her side and changes the angle of his monitor. "all you have to do is sneak in to someone's house, place the bomb at their safe, and bam! You steal their money. It's that easy Y/n, we can rob the bank or whatever too if someone hasn't already."
