It must be finals week or something because this cafe is crowded. But it's only people with book bags, laptops, books, notebooks, and glasses. We barely got a table that could fit all of us. Now we're waiting for our food to come. I'm depressed eating right now. I'm starting to believe she isn't real because every time I blink, she's gone. It's like a maze here, and with where we are sitting, I don't think our food will be coming anytime soon.

"Here you go; again, I apologize for the wait. Enjoy fellas."

I ate myself into a coma as I looked down at my food and passed the other plates to the other guys next to me from the tray. I kept hearing the slight ding of the door as more people came in and out.

As I looked up after we said grace, I just sat thinking of how she got away a second time, this time what seemed like for good, and how she could have gotten away that fast. When we hustled outside, only our tour bus sat alone in the parking lot. As I thought I heard someone talking to me.

"Aye, how did you see her in all this commotion?" Three asked me, and he bit into his falafel burger.

"Huh, what are you talking about?"
I asked him. He pointed and nodded his head forward.

"There she goes right there." He explained after swallowing his food.

I focused my eyes in front of me.
That's when I saw her. Sitting at a table by herself, she had a pile of books stacked up. She was writing as her head turned slightly towards the open book on the right side of the table. I have a perfect view of her from the pile on her table and a pile of plates in front of me. Neither one of us is leaving anytime soon.
