Yejin watched Hyunbin as he starts preparing for their dinner. They went out for a quick grocery run earlier that afternoon after playing golf because she was craving some homemade Korean food, and Hyunbin, the ever gentleman, volunteered to do the cooking tonight. She honestly just wanted to cook for him because he was still jet-lagged and still recovering from all the months of filming tirelessly without a break; however, he insisted on doing it for her. She still cannot believe that he flew out to LA a week earlier than what he told her. Hyunbin totally knows Yejin; he knows that she was disappointed when she found out that they wouldn't be able to leave for LA together because of some prior commitments. All along, she thought that they would only have a few weeks together; little did she know that Hyunbin had adjusted his schedule for him to be able to leave earlier than what he planned because he wanted to surprise her. And surprise she did.

No wonder her best friend in LA was insisting for her to come with her to visit a "friend" of hers who lives just outside of the subdivision where Yejin's best friend lives. If anyone saw Yejin's face when the door flew open and found Hyunbin on the other side, they would have laughed at the comical sight. She was stunned and lost for words that her best friend had to slap her arm lightly because she was just staring at Hyunbin. Hyunbin, on the other hand, just laughed at her surprised reaction and couldn't help but grab her so he could finally give her a welcome hug. After a while, Yejin and her best friend have finally gone inside the apartment, which Hyunbin had rented for his stay in LA before moving to the hotel they booked together. Yejin was staying with her best friend while she was supposed to be waiting for Hyunbin, to spend some time with her and her family, especially Sophia, whom she missed so much.
Because of the excitement that they felt for finally travelling together again in a foreign country, they completely forgot to disguise themselves when they went out to get some groceries; hence articles and paparazzi photos of Yejin and Hyunbin grocery shopping together captured by some fans have started circulating online. Yejin and Hyunbin should've known better because they were in LA after all. Many Asians, especially Koreans, live and travel there.
