Q: Is there a particular reason for Sakusa's abnormal love of cleanliness?
A: I don't really think it's abnormal. It's just that if there's something unpleasant, he either says it, or it shows on his face, so that's why it stands out.
Q: Have you come up with Sakusa's play style at the time when you introduced him as one of the top 3 strongest aces? Why haven't you introduced him before V.LEAGUE arc?
A: I haven't considered it back then. Didn't really show him because [the main characters] lost before they could play against him.
Q: Please tell us the reason behind the characters' names.
A:
Sakusa: "He got one kanji from each of the parents."
Komori: "So that he always sticks to his resolutions."
