I woke up, and started coughing up water. Sea water is so fucking sAlTy. I was literally sweating, I looked down and saw that I still have my bathing suit on. My hair was a little damp. I was wearing a hoodie, god this hoodie is big.I look over at the door and see Chris leaning against the door,looking at the floor. I see a bump on Chris's bed, I heard someone crying. I felt bad because no one should be crying. So I stood up and walked over to the bed.
"Why are you crying!?" I asked sitting on the bed ,moving the covers, it was Karl.
"Y/N ?!"Karl shouted moving the blanket and pulling me into a hug.
"Why are you crying?" I asked kissing his forehead.
"You have been out for 3 hours!Nobody thought you would wake up." Chris mumbled, walking towards the bed.
"Do you want a hug too?" I asked,Chris pulling him into a hug.
I pull both of the boys into a hug, Karl was still crying and I felt bad.
3 hours earlier (btw Karl's POV)
"If you like her ask her out!" Chris whispered, bumping his shoulder into me.
"I I I , I can't!" I whispered back.
"Oh yeah Tricia is here." Chris sighed, taking a sip out of his water.
"Anyways I can't still!" I said coving my face.
Y/n walked out from the boat and looked at me, I waved, she waved back with the cutest smile. God she so cute with my hoodie on....
"Look at the way you look at her! Look at the way you act near her! And I know it's hard for you too talk to women but she's your bsf!" Chris told me uncovering my face.
"But but-" I tried to say,til Chris literally looked away from me and yelled.
"Put me down! Bitch." I heard some yelled
I look over an see Tricia, holding y/n over her shoulder. Walking over to the edge of the boat. I realized that Tricia was going to throw her over the edge.
"Tricia put her down!"Chris yelled running towards Tricia.
Chris was way faster than me, he got there a second late.I was a little bit behind, all I heard was y/n yelling, than a splash.
"I CANT SWIM!"Y/n yelled before hitting the water.
"Oops sorry!" Tricia laughed,looking over the edge of the boat.
Chris looked over the edge of the boat to see if she was anywhere to be seen.I dashed over to the railing and leaped over it ,falling 15 feet into the cold ocean.
SPLASH!
I hit the water legs first.I open my eyes to see y/n floating in the water, I swam over to her and grabbed her arm. I'm not really good at swimming either but I can.I swam to the surface to see Chris. Chris pulled her out the water,I started to climb the ladder but up to the boat. I got up onto the top of the boat,and I saw her laying there on the wooden floor, everyone was near her except Tricia and Katie.
"She probably fainted since she knew she could have drowned." Chris said, grabbing a towel.
"Did you check if she was breathing?!"I asked, speed walking over to her.
"No, not yet but I will." Chris responded, taking off her hoodie.
I sat down next to her as Chris checked her pulse. Chris looked at me as tears trickled down his face.
"Chris your joking right?!" I shouted as I checked her pulse my self, because I did believe him.She was not breathing. At all.
"no..." I mumbled.
"noooooo."
"Y/n wake up! This isn't funny!" I shouted shaking her.
"Y/n ! This is not a joke! Wake up!" I shouted, trying to shake her again.
"Please wake up." I mumbled, as tears fell down my face.
I picked up her body, and held her tight. I cried . There's nothing else to do. I lost my best friend. The person I loved. Everyone around us started to cry.
"Please wake up, I love you"
"Omg she died?!" Tricia asked ,walking over to me.
"get away." I mumbled
"What did you say? I couldn't hear you?" Tricia asked, looking down at me.
"I said... GET AWAY FROM ME!" I shouted.
"Your just upset that she's gone, boo hoo! Looks like there's no more y/n!" Tricia laughed, walking away.
"What did you say bitch!" Maddy asked, getting in Tricia face.
"You heard me, the slut deserves it!" Tricia shouted in Maddy's face.
"That's it!" Maddy shouted grabbing Tricia's hair.
I look up and see Maddy beating up Tricia. Chandler and Chris trying to stop the fight.Jimmy calling someone to get a small boat to come pick up Tricia to get her off the boat.I sat there with her in my hands, looking down at her. I used a towel to wipe away her mascara.
"Only if you knew how much I loved you." I mumbled,standing up.
I picked her up and walked to her room.I open the door and walk to her bed, I placed her in her bed. I changed her into my favorite hoodie,I tucked her in the bed.I went on Chris's bed and cried. Chris walked in and sat on the bed right next to me, he's the last the person I want to see. I don't hate hate him, he did something I won't forget.
"Hey Karl." Chris mumbled, pulling the covers.
I didn't want to respond.
"Are you still upset I dated y/n?! We can talk if you want!" Chris shouted.
"It was your fault! You promised me!"I shouted wiping my face with my sleeve."You even took her to prom! And you knew I was too scared too! I shouted sitting up.
"Iii-" Chris tried to explain, but I cut him off
"No, you promised me in 4th grade that you wouldn't date her!" I shouted ,pointing in Chris face.
"I'm sorry Karl!" Chris shouted.
"Don't even talk to me!" I shouted.
I pulled the covers over my head, and silently cried.
