(Julia uses her super speed and retreats to a part of her room where the sun can't reach in)

Carl: (turns around) What's the matter with you?

Julia: Nothing. Just close it.

Carl: Stop being a freak, come and get some sunlight.

Julia: (angrily) CLOSE IT!

Carl: Alright.

(Carl closes the curtains)

Carl: I'll be waiting for you downstairs, in the kitchen.

(He leaves her room)

Julia: (sighs) That was close, I have to try this comodium acetate thing.

(Julia takes her bracelet and dips it into the comodium acetate then she wears it)

Julia: Here goes nothing....

(She lifts the curtain slightly to allow the sun to touch her and it doesn't burn her)

Julia: Woah, this is amazing, I can finally go out in the sun without bursting into flames.

(She goes into the kitchen)

Carl: Finally, you're here....Why're you in such a happy mood?

Julia: Because one of the greatest things just happened. 

Carl: I don't care, just make something for me to eat.

(That evening)

Julia: One problem down, Many more to go....This is the worst thing that's ever happened to me

(Just then, A bat flies near her window)

Julia: (grabs a broom to chase it away) Shooo!

(The bat turns into Marco which frightens Julia)

Julia: Marco? How'd you do that?

Marco: Shape shifting.

Julia: Can I do that as well?

Marco: Unfortunately no. It's one of the special skills that vampires of the Old World have along with the ability to compel vampires of the New World. 

Julia: Ohhh, So why're you here at my house?

Marco: Wouldn't you at least invite me in?

Julia: Okay, Come in.

(Marco enters her room)

Marco: You see, Vampires can't enter a house without an invitation, They'll have to be invited in by the owner of the house or his or her relatives.

Julia: Ohhh okay.

Marco: I came to check up on you. How're you dealing with your vampire situation?

Julia: (sighs) Honestly I don't know, I mean I have the super strength, super speed, mind compulsion, immortality....But there's also weaknesses like the sun, I can't touch or be around garlic and the worst of all is the incessant hunger for blood.

Marco: Its who we are.

Julia: I'm really afraid to hurt any of my family.

Marco: Which is why you need to master the art of self control..

Julia: How do you suppress the cravings?

Marco: I have self control, plus, in the Old world, We have who we feed on without killing them , But since I arrived in the New world, I haven't fed from anyone, Besides, I'm much older and I can stay without blood for weeks.

Julia: And the sun or the garlic?

Marco: Those, I can't withstand, The garlic and the sun still burns me which is why I can only come out at dusk.

Julia: That reminds me, While searching the internet, I came up with a temporary solution for our sun problem (shows him the comodium acetate) Just dip any jewelry of yours in it, then wear it and it'll shield you from the sun.

Marco: That's great, Except I don't own any jewelry.

Julia: Not even a ring?

Marco: No.

Julia: Hmmm, I'll see what I can do.

(Next Monday)
(Dishville High)

Abbey: JULIA! (hugs her) I've missed you so so much

Julia: I missed you too Abbey.

Abbey: (sees her bracelet) Nice jewelry, looks so shiny.

Julia: Thanks, Its family's heirloom, My mom gave it to me before she traveled to Florida.

Vanessa: Ugh! The black sheep returns...

(Julia and Abbey ignore her)

Thorn: How're you doing now?

Julia: Much better.

Vanessa: Wow, you two got back together?

Abbey: Yes they did. And nothing's gonna seperate them again!

(Julia hugs Thorn, While hugging him she smells the blood in his neck)

Abbey: (notices her face changes) Are you okay?

Julia: I'm fine, I need to go to the restroom.

(Julia leaves the classroom)

Vanessa: (To Thorn) Did you brush your teeth this morning? It's like she smelt some awful bad breath and went to the toilet to puke. (smiles)

Thorn: Get lost.

(Vanessa goes into the restroom after Julia)

(In the restroom)
(Julia looks at her vampire face in the mirror)

Julia: Oh God, Could there be anything worse than the urge to rip out my boyfriend's jugular?

(Vanessa enters the restroom and Julia covers her face)

Vanessa: There you are, Are you done puking?

Julia: Please just get out of here.

Vanessa: Or what?

(Vanessa attempts to hit Julia but she uses her super speed to block the hit, Injuring Vanessa in the process)

Vanessa: Ouch, Look what you've done, I'm going to kill you...

Julia: (she sees Vanessa's bleeding wrist) Oh no...

Vanessa: Turn around and let me see your face, I need to slap the hell outta you.

Julia: (tries to fight off the urge while backing Vanessa) Vanessa please just get out of here.

Vanessa: Not until I give you a resounding beating

(Vanessa forces Julia to turn around and she sees her vampire face)

Vanessa: Jesus Christ, What the hell are you?

(Julia pins Vanessa to a wall in a flash and compels her)

Julia: "Don't scream and do not tell anyone about this"

Vanessa: (under compulsion) "I won't scream or tell anyone about this"

Julia: Good! Because I'm really hungry.

(Julia's fangs pop out and she bites into Vanessa's neck, drinking her blood)
