Carl: Good morning my dear sister

Julia: Hmmm, you look excited this morning.

Carl: Well I just decided to forget about Nadine, I mean, what's there to ponder about? She clearly wouldn't go out with me so I decided not to think about her.

Julia: Ohhh, Are you sure you're ok?

Carl: I'm much better

Julia: Okay, Good for you.

Carl: Yea, I made breakfast, garlic bread, garlic butter, garlic sausages, garlic soup....

Julia: Why so many garlic based foods?

Carl: Well I've recently had carvings for garlic.

Julia: That's nice but I'm not eating, Garlic irritates me.

Carl: Since when?

Julia: Umm, Where's mom?

Carl: Why'd you change the subject? We're not done talking.... Let's go to the kitchen

Julia: But it'd be smelling of lots of garlic and I just said garlic irritates me.

Carl: Why? Because you're a vampire? (laughs hysterically)

Julia: (laughs hysterically too) Hahahaha, Why would you think that?

Carl: It's ok, I'm just messing with you, Anyways mom's still upstairs dressing up.

Julia: Okay, I should go arrange my school bag, Be right back.

Carl: (smiles evilly) No problem dear sis.

(In the car)

Mrs Sanders: So honey, How's school been so far this semester?

Julia: Its alright

(Carl takes out garlic bulbs from his shorts and places in behind Julia)

Julia: (coughs) Is it getting stuffy in here?

Mrs Sanders: Not at all, Are you ok?

Julia: (coughs harder) I.... don't.... think....so

(Mrs Sanders opens the car windows just as Carl removes the garlic bulbs)

Mrs Sanders: Feel better?

Julia: Yeah

Carl: (quietly) Oh my God.

(Dishville middle school)
(Carl sees Nadine sitting alone and goes to meet her)

Carl: Hey Nadine

Nadine: (avoids eye contact) Hi

Carl: You've been avoiding me, Why?

Nadine: I'm really sorry Carl, But I can't be seen with you, I have to go.

Carl: But wait....

(Nadine leaves)

Angus: Why has she been acting strangely towards you?

Carl: I don't know, but I'll find out.

(Later)
(At the computer lab,Carl does some research about vampires)

Carl: (reads) "Vampires; mythological undead creatures that feed on blood, Their abilities include immortality, super strength, super speed, super healing, mind compulsion, heightened senses and many more and their weaknesses include sun, fire, garlic and wood. They are creatures of the night and..... "

Angus: What're you doing here? We're having maths class right now.

Carl: I'll be there soon, I'm doing a research.

Angus: On Vampires? Don't tell me you're still scared about the vampire stories your mom told when you were little, Vampires don't exist.

Carl: Yes they do, And my sister's one of them.

Angus: (sarcastically) Yea right, And my brother's also one of them.

Carl: I'm serious.

Angus: Look, I need to go now, when you're done fantasizing, meet me in maths class.

(He leaves the computer room)

Carl: (continues reading) "For a human to be turned into a vampire, the human has to die with vampire blood in their system..... " (stops reading) Woah, this is so amazing

(Carl leaves the computer room without reading the rest of the article)

(Dishville High)

Abbey: I'm really happy you were able to talk your brother out of this whole Nadine situation.

Julia: Actually I didn't, He just told me he's over her.

Abbey: You just need to watch him closely, He might still be hurting deep down and he's just trying to cover it up.

Julia: You're right, But don't worry, When I get home, I'll convince him to forget about Nadine.

Abbey: So you'll just convince him forget about Nadine and he'll do it? Since when does he listen you?

Julia: (smiles) You'll be suprised.

Abbey: Okay.

(That night)
(At Julia's house)

Julia: Goodnight mom

Mrs Sanders: Good night sweetie

(On her way to her room, Julia smells blood in the hallway)

Julia: I smell blood, Where's it coming from?

(She follows the smell and it leads to Carl's room, She goes in there and sees him cutting off his wrists with a razor blade)

Julia: Oh my goodness, Carl!

(She gets closer to him and sees him in a pool of blood)

Julia: (sweating) No! I can fight the urge. (She breathes in and out continuously till the urge to feed fades)

Carl: (weakly) I wanna die, I'm tired of living.

Julia: No Carl, you can't do this, Mom and dad would want to see you graduate out of middle school and with the both of your hands.

Carl: (weakly) Go away.

(Julia speedily collects the razor blade from him and bites into her own wrist).

Julia: Drink it, it'll heal you quickly.

Carl: No, please just let me die.

(Julia forces Carl to drink her blood which heals his injury in seconds)

Carl: (groans) Uhhh

Julia: (sighs) Thank God (slaps Carl) Are you insane? What made you do this?

Carl: Nadine hates me.

Julia: And you want to kill yourself because of that? I thought you said were over her?

Carl: I pretended to be but I can't hide it any longer

Julia: (sighs) But that doesn't mean you should try to cut off your wrists, Are you okay now?

Carl: I think so, How was your blood able to heal me?

Julia: Ehhh...(she grabs him and compels him) "Never try to harm yourself again, Forget about Nadine and everything that just happened here"

Carl: I'll never try to harm myself again, I'll forget about Nadine and everything that just happened here "

Julia: Good, my work here is done.

(Julia leaves his room, Unbeknown to her, Carl ingested garlic earlier which prevented the compulsion)

Carl: So she thinks I'm a puppet huh? (takes out a bottle of rat poison under his bed) If I can remember correctly.....

(Carl drinks the rat poison and dies, with Julia's blood in his system)
