Chapter Two

(Jean's POV)

I stand there frozen, blushing crazily while staring at Armin. I soon snap out of my little trance. "Oh God Armin, I'm sorry. Are you okay?" I ask kneeling, trying to help him up

"I-I'm f-fine" Armin stutters. My gaze slowly lowers from his face and slowly drags down his body Armin has a fit body and has a little tummy, which is adorable, and his skin tone is even. 'It's perfect.'

"I'm really sorry" I whisper. I look into his eyes, and we both begin to blush once again.

"Guys, you read-" Eren's voice trails off as he walks in on us, and his jaw drops. "Uh, I'll come back later" and Eren awkwardly leaves.

"Oh God" Armin murmurs, placing his head in his hands.

(Armin's POV)

I feel so embarrassed. Jean just stared at me, and he. . .blushed? 'He likes me right? He kind of acts like he does, but looks like he's interested in Mikasa. Or is he embarrassed that he witnessed my disgusting body. I may be smart, but how body language is yet a an impossible subject.' I quickly get dressed, then run out of the room, leaving Jean behind. I stumble out of the hall and move quickly over to a secluded area to sit on an oversized rock and find some peace of mind, which is really hard to come by with my never ending training of thought.

"Armin!" someone yells. I look up to see Jean standing in front of me. He slightly hovers over me. He clenches his teeth before sighing softly, "I can't do this anymore. I'm going to implode if I don't get this off my chest." He gradually inches towards my ear and whispers, "I really like you." I freeze until I realize that his lips on mine. I soon snap out of it, and kiss back.

(Jean's POV)

'Did I just kiss Armin? Oh my God, it felt so natural, felt so right-"

"Jean" Armin purrs. "I just wanted to tell you, you have no idea how long I've wanted to kiss you and cherish- gah, this is so embarrassing. I sound cheesy" Armin whines and tries to move, but I begin kiss his neck. I move my lips down to his collarbone, and he gasps. I chuckle and move closer to his lips.

"I want you to be happy, with me, by my side from now on. I know this is a bit sudden, but with how we live life, I don't want you to be alone. I'm here and I want to take care of you, cherish you, love you" I confess against his soft skin.

"Je-Jean I-I don't know what to say" Armin stammers.

"You're so cute when you stutter" I chuckle. Armin blushes, and shifts his body closer to mine, and starts kissing my neck.

"Oh shit! The mission! We have to go!" I exclaim, startling Armin. He moves his body away, but I  grab his hand and run to the stables to retrieve our horses and leave.
