The floor shifted and the walls that once surrounded the place fizzed away into another reality.

Koko woke up, surprisingly on her floor next to her bed and not her bed. She yawned, rubbing her eyes and using the bed as support to get up, something suddenly rolled and fell on her. She looked at the offending object and saw her volleyball. She chuckled and picked up the volleyball and put it down.
She turned and saw a duffel bag, filled. 'Why is this here again?' She asked herself, she shrugged and went to get ready for the day. She went to the bathroom to take a bath and brush her teeth. As she was brushing her teeth she looked at her calendar. Something was encircled in red marker.
'HEADING TO FINALS!' It read.
She blinked. Volleyball finals were today, that's why the duffel bag was filled. She quickly changed, grabbed her bag and ran straight to school. She saw the familiar coaster laying before a group of people.
Three boys, and three girls.
She joined them and asked if she was late. "Just in time, actually." Oku said blandly. Koko nodded, continuing to talk to Potato. Minko was using his phone and Dirt and Milk were talking while Lychee seemed to be in a daze, probably thinking about something dumb. The teacher suddenly clapped, a girl appearing behind him. "Get in, everyone! We'll be going now." He smiled. The girl, Kanii, behind him spoke: "Did all of you bring the things you need?" she asked.
Koko and Potato replied by nodding and the rest replied verbally. They all headed into the coaster and went their way.

When they were almost there, the teacher said: "That's the gym the finals will be held in. The one on the left."
Everyone turned to the left and saw the gym, it was a huge dome, there was another building beside it, big as well but nothing compared to the main gym.
Koko felt the adrenaline pump through her veins, Lets see how far we'll reach.
They got to the place where they would stay in, and got settled in.
The coach had met them up at the place and explained all the events that would happen during the finals, and who they would be up against first.
"Our first game will be against the Meadows" The coach, Chris Fuselier, said. "Up to you if you want to practice, there's a gym nearby here that you can practice in" He stood up and said his goodbye and left.
Minko was just sitting down on the floor of the room. "Soo- what now..?" She asked. Lychee shrugged. Oku was playing something on his phone, probably Terarria or something. Potato stood up "Ima use this time to practice for tomorrow!" She stated proudly as she went to change into clothes suit for sports. "I'll come with" Koko said, following her, Dirt stood up "I have nothing to do so uh-" He itched his head laughing a bit. Lychee stood up and just followed. Minko stood up and ran, probably wanted to be there first.
Oku stared as they left. Why are they like this..
He sighed, smiling a bit before standing up to go to them as well.
When they got to the gym, they were surprised by the size. It was much bigger than theirs, and had about 4 courts in it. They went to an unoccupied one nearest to them and the coach was there. "Coach Chris!" Koko waved and the coach waved back, he was pushing a cart of volleyballs. "I had a feeling you guys would go here, so I just waited here." He chuckled. "He doesn't look so happy to be here." He pointed at Oku. The coach got a ball and threw it at Dirt, who caught it. "Nice receive, Damien." The coach joked.
Dirt was a setter, Lychee was Libero, Koko was middle blocker, Minko was outside hitter, Potato was opposite hitter, with Oku being defensive specialist.
Dirt went to the side of the net and got ready for Koko to hit it, Koko started running and she jumped, Dirt aimed the ball at the direction her hand was going to hit, Koko smacked it down and the volleyball hit the other side of the court. Koko jumped happily and raised her hands at Dirt. Dirt high-fived her hands smiling.
Lychee moved to the other side of the court and got into a stance. Dirt then set for Koko and she spiked. Lychee quickly moved and hit the ball back up into the next court, the ball almost about to come back due to the net. Oku went in and caught the ball, Dirt setting it again for Koko, who responded quickly and hit it. Potato went into Lychee's court and blocked the ball before it went to their side of the court. Minko went in and the game continued in that way.

"I'm so tireeed-" Lychee said, as they were walking back to the lodge. Minko stretched and Dirt sighed "It was tiring though."
Potato looked up. "Its already night.." She muttured. "We we're in that place for a while. " Oku said in the same monotone voice as always.
They got to the lodge and Oku opened the door for all of them to go in.
After each of them washed, Oku immediately went to sleep. Their manager, Kanao, soon went in and told them to rest because tomorrow was the first match, and they need the energy after practicing for so long. "Oku seemed to be way ahead of you" Kanii laughed as she looked at Oku. She waved and said "Goodnight!" And went into a separate room.
------------ NEXT DAY
Kanii woke each of them up, everyone was getting ready. The assembly started soon.
The moment they went in front of the main gym, Koko gasped. Despite seeing it the day before, It still looked amazing and absolutely majestic. She ran forward, racing Minko to the entrance. Along the way she accidentally bumped into someone. "Ah! Sorry-!" She looked up and saw a girls face. "Oh, Hello!" She said, walking a step back. "Hi." The girl smiled. "I'm Koko! Who are you?" Koko asked, lending her hand. "I'm Autumn. Nice to meet you." Autumn kindly shook her hand. From the details on her shirt, Koko could tell Autumn was in the Meadows team. "You and I are going up against each other on the first match!" Koko said happily. Autumn laughed a bit at Koko's enthusiasm. "Autumn! C'mon!" Someone from afar yelled. "Ah, got to go. Good luck!" Autumn waved as she ran off. Koko turned and looked at Minko.
"You are so clumsy-"
"Shut it-"
The coach clapped his hands. "There's an assembly going on, lets go."
All of the players saluted, jokingly said "Yessir!"
