CHAPTER 15 - The Aggressive Demon

LYCHEE'S POV ---

After a day, we were finally able to investigate the house as the police left with the body and any evidence they thought would be crucial to the investigation. A female police told us that they might come back if they need to check for any extra clues they might've left behind, and for us to report if we could find any.

They left just before dark, so we headed into the house about an hour after they left. We were going to start the actual search, so it was best for it to be dark, or at night, which is when phantoms are more active.

"So are we doing the same roles?" Koko asked while opening the door. "I think its best we stick together at first..?" Potato half-stated, half-asked. "He's aggressive, we should stay in groups of two, staying clustered together would make it easier for him to kill all of us at once, staying in one would make it easy for him to kill someone without us noticing." Dirt explained before we entered. "Potato will go alone, but with the spray and crucifix and she will stay close to any rooms or places Minko and I go to as much as possible." Dirt said. "You two can go on your own, is that alright?" Dirt asked, making sure. "Yup." I said, with Koko nodding.

We two headed upstairs, scared shitless since its a threat level red phantom. We both went into the first bedroom. The lights flickered. Koko stayed behind me. "Go forth, be a gentleman and be first." She said in a shaky tone. I sighed. "Tell my dad I love him if I die." I said. "Y'mean Dirt?" She asked, and I replied by smacking her. I pulled out a certain gadget, which I never bothered to remember the name of, and turned it on.

"Are you here?" I asked the gadget.

"Go to Pharis." It replied, its tone constantly changing.

"It's here." I concluded. "That's rather lucky, to get it in the first room we entered." Koko murmured. I pulled out the EMF reader and checked the status. "There's nothing much in the EMF reader..." I blinked. "Is it cold for you?" Koko asked, slightly shivering. "No..? Well, I'm wearing a jacket." I shrugged. "Its definitely in here." Koko murmured as she wrote down some evidence in a journal. "Lets go call the others" I said, about to leave. "You go, I'm pretty sure it wont take long, I can do other things while I stay here." Koko waved her hand submissively. "If you say so.." I went and left.

I went into the living room, and found the three together, with Potato and Minko in a very defensive stance. "We found the Ghost Room already." I told them. "Oh ok." MInko dropped her stance and went to follow me.

When I was about to go upstairs, I heard Koko screaming. "Oh my god!" She shrieked. Potato immediately brought out the crucifix and started screaming as she ran into the room. "THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU, THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU," She yelled repeatedly as she stood in front of a shaken up Koko, who was on the ground with her hand on her mouth. "You alright?" I asked, pulling her up as she nodded. "Its dangerous to stay together in this room, especially with Koko." Dirt said quickly, as he left the room, walking backwards. I stayed next to Koko as Potato moved to Minko. "Okay.." I started writing things down. "Why don't you put it down..? And check if he will react to it?" Koko suggested, trying to get her bearings back as she massaged her temples. I nodded, putting down the journal and pencil. "I'll get the Ouija board, we might be able to talk to him that way." Dirt said as he quickly went down the stairs and outside to the van.

I inhaled a whole lot of air as I watch the pencil float. "Go to Pharis, hurry" It wrote in an almost untelligible writing. "He has a much more dirty writing than Toby did." Koko chuckled as she picked up the book and started writing. "So based off of what we have so far, what can we say he is?" Before I could answer, Dirt appeared and plopped the Ouija board down.

"Lets begin." Dirt said as he shut off the light. "If we die, we die" Dirt concluded. He sat down. We all gathered in a circle and began. Everyone turned to Potato as she asked the first question. "Who are you?" She asked. The planchette moved, going to 'T' then 'O' then 'M' , pausing for a bit, then 'Y'. "Tomy??" Koko murmured in confusion. "Tommy." I corrected. "Oh." Everyone then turned to me.

"What do you want?" I asked, not knowing what I should ask.

It went to 'S' then 'A' then 'V' then 'E'. it paused.

'P' then 'H' then 'A' then 'R' then 'I' then 'S'.

"Save Pharis." I murmured. "He said it again.." I itched my head.

"Now?" Minko asked.

'Yes'

I stood up. "He's a demon, I'm sure. Lets go, he's so persistent on wanting us to go to Pharis, so lets go, something important must be going on." I said. "Can we go now?" Koko asked, turning to Dirt. "It seems we have to." Dirt itched his head. "Let's go." He led us out as he got the Ouija board. We headed into the van, it was dark, and probably it was already 9:00PM, but it seemed like the best time to go already.

As we got into the van, right after Dirt started it, he gasped. "I just remembered, but apparently in the documents, the body of Pharis was never found, but an unhealthy amount of his blood was found." He said. "Then he might still be alive, somewhere in his house, then." Potato finished for him. He nodded and began driving.
