(PART 30) SOPHIE'S POV.

"How do you know so much of Foxfire?" Sophie asked as they creeped along the corridors. It was strangely eerie and peaceful at the same time.
"I've spent a lot of time exploring in my spare time." He looked back to her and smirked. Sophie just rolled her eyes but she was happy to have gone Keefe. It felt like this one last thing they were going to together. She didn't know if that was a happy thing or not.
"Okay, Miss F prepare to get your mind blown. For I, The Master Extraordinaire of The Hair, has brought you to a place for only I had seen before-"
"Get to it Keefe." Sophie interrupting him before he could go on forever.
"Low blow Foster I was setting the moment." But he smiled and side stepped and gestured her to enter the big huge doors.
Sophie turned the door knob and marched into the darkness,
"You know I actually was expecting more than darkness Keefe especially after that speech you gave..." Sophie wondered off as lights lit up the room,
Sophie known Keefe had a flair for dramatics but this took her breath away, the roof was opened up to sky which dotted with so many stars that it seemed impossible that so many existed. She then realized Keefe hadn't turned on the lights he just opened up the roof and the light, faerie brightness they were in was from the stars. The atrium was surrounded by velvet chairs and some sort of flowers that gloomed all around.
"I- Keefe this is beautiful." She said twirling around.
Keefe laughed, "It used to be an astronomy tower but they are now using the northern tower for some reason."
He walked over to her and stopped by her side.
At that moment Sophie felt uncomfortable, how had he found this place...
"So I suspect another girl led you to this one?" She said as she moved a fraction away from him, it would be impossible for him to notice but he did. His eyes were full of hurt but Sophie wondered off to the back of the atrium to look at the flowers.
"Sophie..."
She stopped in her tracks at her first name. She was hundred percent sure that he had called her that before but something about this time sounded different, it sounded like he was to push a thousand emotions into one word. Her name.
She turned around, Keefe was looking down at his feet which he was digging into the ground.
"I know I'm the last person in the world to...deserve you...and there is no absolute reason for you to even be friends with me. For sakes I don't even know why you are friends with me. You have changed my life in so many ways Sophie. You have made it infinitely happier and I met a group of the most incredible people. If it wasn't for you I'm sure I would have broken apart a long time ago. The only reason I'm standing here it's because of you Sophie Foster."
There were times when her family and her watched romance movies and she remembered Amy would always swoon over the part where the would give this big heart wrenching speech. She hadn't thought she would actually be on the receiving side of one. But the what made it so that it took her breath away was the fact that when Keefe said her name of sounded like there was nothing else in the world more important.
She stood there staring at Keefe and there were tears in her eyes for some unknown reason and they were streaming down her face despite her not knowing why.
"Are you crying?" Keefe asked, before she could say no he rushed over to her and placed her in a hug. She sunk into it and sobbed. Why was she crying?
"You know when a person gives you a speech like that you're supposed to shower them with kisses but I do except you don't do anything the normal way. Do you Foster?" He mumbled into her hair.
"You're horrible." She said through the crying.
"I know. I know. But you can't stop loving me can you?" Sophie could feel the smirk on his face.
"No. I can't." She said. It wasn't even a whisper she thought it would be impossible for him to hear it but from the way his breath caught Sophie could tell he heard it. She felt his arms tightened around her and she wanted no one else to be there instead. She wanted this moment with Keefe and only with him. She put down her wall and send everything to him because words didn't seem to grasp it.
'You're saying if I wasn't there you wouldn't be here today but Keefe it's the same way with me. You kept me from going to far and always been there for me. You've always been the shoulder to cry on and bared my worrying to the point I'm going to vomit vibes. I probably can't top the speech you just gave now but I need you to hear, I wouldn't be here without you Keefe Sencen.'
