CHAPTER - 7 : Amar

July 7 , Monday :
I knew her since my childhood as classmate; she was a good friend of mine. But things changed when I was 14; to be specific I became close with her when I was 14. my mom passed away when I was 13 . My father, never mind him he's more like a third person to me, he used to meet me once a month. My mom was my whole world, when my mom died I had no one. My world almost ended, until she entered my life. I never noticed her much before, but things changed. I don't remember how or when but I started loving her. Some way or other she replaced my mom, the care she showed was beyond everything. She paid attention to me even when no one noticed me. She didn't witness my suffering but helped me recover. The most lovable thing in this is she did these only to me. Everything went well until that accident happened.
I was there in the other dimension. The souls which came along with me got destroyed within weeks. Occasionally I even meet souls of people I knew, they were surprised seeing me in the spirit world. But even they don't remain with me, within few days their souls would decompose to a state where I can't even identify them.
Do you know what the real pain is? If the humans here think or cry for a dead person our body will release a certain kind of energy which will open a one way postal will be opened, the soul in that dimension can see and hear their loved ones through that. You don't need any big ritual, just a small flower in the graveyard works. I have seen many souls seeing people crying in their funeral, but... I never even had a funeral, no one cried for me. These 6 years no one even thought of me once. I couldn't even decompose like other souls. You might think people who die might go to haven, but it isn't possible, the truth is there is only one world out there for souls and its hell.
"when I died, my father changed all my memories. He erased my memories with my mother and replaced it with him. He made that robot to be close and attached with him. Not because his love towards me made him do so , it was his pity situation were he had no one to love. He used my body like lab rat for his experiments and created a robot out of my body, a fake Amaran. That didn't shock me much because I knew about my father but... the thing which shocked me more was you. I never imagined that, I nearly died when I saw you with him. I came to this dimension few days ago. Day before yesterday, I saw you with him". Amar's spirit was silent after that.
Adithya was standing outside the room. Sindhiya was confused and totally broken. She restricted herself from believing things around her, but she couldn't control herself which made her cry. Two of them love her but none of them were humans. One was a robot who cheated her by hiding his identity of being a robot, still truly loved her. The other is a ghost, whom she loved. She loved the robot but that too was because of the old Amar. She was flooded with emotions. Above all she couldn't believe that her boyfriend died. This chaotic situation made her weep heavily.
After sending Adithya to other room Amar continued." I was all alone; nothing remained with me, as a soul we can't even sleep. These 6 years thought me many things. Everything was dark around me except your thoughts. I have suffered a lot till now, but this is my time. I have nothing to suffer anymore. I got you back and I'm going to change this world, bring peace and harmony among the dimensions, and eliminate everyone's sorrow. I am the king in the new world which I'm creating, will you be my queen?"
She had no reaction, her face was slightly bulged because of weeping. Her eyes were dry and lacked tears.
"I understand how you feel. I'm not forcing you, the decision is yours. I know you love me; you loved that toy all these years because of me. Don't confuse about him, he is just a device, like a mobile. We can speak with our loved ones through that, kiss our phone, but that doesn't mean we love the phone. It's all about the person in the other side."
"I planned and practised to say these things to you after few months , were I would be in a good position. But I can't see you crying for that robot."
While Sindhiya was asleep Amar came out of the room . He had no tears but was craving to cry. He saw Adithya jumping out of his window and running away. He had different plan in his mind, but he changed them. He sent few souls to release Maanvi and make her meet Adithya before he reaches police station. After Vetri revealed diverting Adithya and finding Amar's body, he took charge of Vetri's work, which was to blackmail the military guards who were in-charge for security during the upcoming all party meeting.

"do you think we will surrender to you creepy creatures , we aren't afraid of you", said the chief of security force.
"don't even think that we are afraid of you " said the assistant chief.
I'm not here to frighten you. This is just a deal between us. If you support us in this mission you will be provided with immortality for few centuries." said Amar calmly.
"you can never buy a soldier ", said the chief.
"I'm not buying you. I'm just employing you, this is just like privilege or salary which your government gives you to fight in their favour", said Amar.
"we don't fight for government . We fight for our country", said the chief bravely ," to safeguard it".
"safeguard the country", Amar repeated his last word and laughed at him," save from who. From another country , from another soldier like you. If I ask the same question to him he will give me the same answer, but the difference is you will be the evil one in his view. You never have fought for the country. You fight for the government, the politicians. Because of whom the whole world is out of balance. Even the superior humans species isn't living a good life here. You do have sufferings. I'm here to relieve you form those suffering. This is your opportunity to fight for the country ,for the people rather than the government. Remember one thing I'm not here to threaten you, but if needed I will".
"who are you to give justice, who do you think you are. I don't think what you want is peace .You are selfish, giving extensive life as bribe to achieve your selfish goals. But you pretend like you are god" shouted the chief.
"yeah, I'm selfish . And I'm not here to spread peace, the kind of peace which you want. Stopping a lion from killing a deer is your kind of peace, that's not even close to peace , its stupidity. You humans have messed up everything here. Your technology and inventions have ended in nothing but chaos. You have collapsed the whole world, spoiled the whole natural balance. I myself have suffered a lot because of your stupid technology. And about god , how do you define your god. Someone with no beginning and no end, I might have beginning but I don't have end, and your gods create world , which I'm doing right now. But I'm not god, god is something which lies in the way you acknowledge it. Some souls think I'm god. if you want I can be yours too." said Amar calmly."
"there is no way I will join you, I will never surrender", said the chief.
Amar gestured a soul nearby to bring something. After few seconds a soul pushed a wheel chair, with a 10 year old kid tied in it. The chief was shocked seeing it, he started screaming and straggled hard to escape and save the kid.
"don't scream chief. I'm not evil like you think. I won't harm your child," said Amar ,' until you cooperate with me."
"don't even imagine that", the chief shouted .
A soul from behind, poured petrol on the kid. Amar wiped his hand on the kids face . They could hear the kid's sound in spite of the cloth blocking her mouth. Amar took his hand with petrol in it. He took a lighter and burned his hands. His hands burned due to petrol. He didn't feel anything as he had no body. He filliped his fingers in fire.
"I ll give you 10 seconds "said Amar and flipped his fingers again and again.
The chief was crying for his kid but was still stubborn, when Amar finished 10 flips he waved his hand in front of the chief and touched his kid.

"I always dream about it Sindhiya", said Amar softly to Sindhiya who was lying on her bed," a long walk with you, holding your hands".
He had ordered other souls to blackmail the chief with his wife and parents until he surrenders.
"so, do you think immortality is correct?" questioned Sindhiya without any reaction.
"I often think about that. I also think that, the moment I met that accident everything should have ended, but it didn't. I never requested this life, but no one other than me got this. Even the mummies in that dimension lives for centuries but they never got the chance to enter this dimension. They do have an opportunity now but they are centuries old they know nothing about the modern world. But I know. I'm the only one in the world, in this universe who got this opportunity to stay immortal. But I'm not the only one who will enjoy that, you could also. Even many others are enjoying it."
"do you think you will enjoy immortality?" questioned Sindhiya without any reaction.
Amar had no answer for that, but now he knew how to attain immortality, but had no idea about being immortal and living forever . But a few seconds of thinking gave him the answer.
"I will enjoy it Sindhiya," said Amar ," if you are with me."

Amar was hiding himself by the side of a high way. A big tuck escorted by two jeeps full of armed men crossed the road. It was faster than what they thought.
"waiting for you order", said a soul standing behind Amar.
"follow the usual technique", said amar.
A soul stood in the middle of the road. It wasn't visible to humans in the jeep when they were no other vehicles in the highway and the jeep approached the soul, it shifted its energy and appeared in front of the jeep. the jeep driver who saw a ghost in the mid way form nowhere , stopped the jeep suddenly . The truck behind crashed on the jeep . Without any delay the other souls surrounded the jeep and the truck and appeared to the humans one after the other.
The humans who saw creatures appearing and disappearing got frightened and fell unconscious. They opened the truck which was full of weapons . The humans whom the souls blackmailed already were made to drive the truck.

Mean while four souls surrendered for Karthi and Giri's murder. they were arrested and sent to prison, where they started their work. They triggered the prisoners, agitated them against police and society. When the prisoners started getting along their side, they promised them that within few days the prison will be broken and in return they should help them in creating chaos all over the city. But none of the prisoners knew they were souls.

Amar along with few other souls entered the missile launching station. He killed the in-charge and converted them to his side. They then pointed the missile in order to destroy the satellite of United Nations, which was sent to monitor the portal activities. They planned to destroy the satellites exactly when they start the coup.

July 10, Thursday :
MLAs, MPs , from all parties , the chief minister , every other big leader in Tamil Nadu entered the Secretariat. The security guards were in position, waiting for Amar's order.
Everything was set ready. Amar and other souls were positioned in the nearby building an hour before the meeting started. An army of 500 souls were up to this task. They all surrounded the secretariat, without other humans finding them. They were among everyone, the cleaning staffs, the drivers, and the police and even among politicians. They planned to attack them in an hour. The missile was ready for attack. The group in the prison was waiting to be unleashed.

"and within an hour in Tamil Nadu everything will begin" said Vetri and disappeared in thin air. The other souls approached them.
"no, this shouldn't happen" shouted Maanvi.
"but there is nothing we can do ", said Adithya out of frustration.
Amar stood up from his chair broke his handcuffs. Came out of the cell, seeing Amar the other souls disappeared out of fear. As soon as he came out he broke the pillar to which they both were cuffed .
"you said you won't help us", said Adithya when he broke his cuff.
"I thought the portal opened accidentally but basically it was my fault too. I built the device to open the portal, based on my dad's instructions. I didn't know he would use that device to open dimensional portal. And the other thing is it was my soul which is behind everything. It's my duty to stop it." said Amar.
"but how can we reach Tamil Nadu?", questioned Maanvi", even in chopper it will take at least three hours."
"do you think they would have left the copper. They would have burnt it." said Adithya.
"we have to reach Tamil Nadu like Vetri did. I'm sure that Vetri is going there, he is good at negotiation. He will represent Tamil Nadu police and negotiate with the military guards. Only we know he is dead. He can easily fool the other cops and take charge. Oh my god, "gasped Amar", I think that's the reason he diverted you and locked you here ," said Amar pointing Adithya", Vetri was too close to you, he will take charge now replacing you. So basically they will be in both sides. They are the attackers and they are the defenders. there is no chance they would lose . He has planed everything perfectly."
The lights in the room went off. Maanvi could feel the souls entering the room. This time it wasn't few souls they were nearly seven of them. Adithya knew that this time they would not hesitate to kill them. As last time it was Amar's soul's plan to let them kidnap Vetri's body. That's the reason they escaped alive.
Amar shifted his vision in one eye to night vision mode and in the other to thermal vision. He compared both the images and spotted the souls Amar moved forward without any fear and touched them. The souls which were afraid of humans were frightened when he touched them against their intention. The souls ran away within seconds.
"I told you right. He can easily fight the souls. Because he has no fear." said Maanvi.
"what do you think, should I appreciate him for this. We don't have time. The souls are out there. If we are the only people who know that the attack is by souls. How are we going to stop." screamed Adithya.
"we can go there before everything happens", said Amar.
"but how?" questioned Maanvi." like Vetri did, but he went through the other dimension. He diverted a part of his soul energy to enter the other dimension. We need a lot of energy to do that".
"I know how to generate that much energy" said Amar and smiled at her.

The meeting started after the national anthem ended.
"Vetri reached station", whispered a soul to Amar.
Amar signalled a soul, it disappeared to execute his order. The missile form the base was launched, exactly after a minute under Amar's command. The U.N satellite crashed. Amar signalled the guards to attack. Nearly 70 soldiers were there on duty, everyone worked for Amar now. They closed the doors of the room where the meeting was held. Nearly 450 members were locked in the same room. Armed guards entered the room and pointed their guns on them the cameras inside were broken. The members were tied up.
Everything was going as per plan, Amar signalled another soul to open up the prison, when the soul disappeared, and another soul came in with shocking news. He was almost frozen hearing it.
"Sindhiya ran away. She escaped from her house"
He couldn't even imagine that she left him. he didn't knew the reason but he thought it was because of his body.
"you should go after her", said the soul.
Amar didn't know what to do. He thought for a minute and replied," no, it's her decision to leave me. And mine it to create this world. There is no way I will step back."
Within a few hours the perimeter was surrounded by police and other military and para-military forces. Media from local channel to international channel shifted their focus here. No one knew it was done by souls. For them it was a military coup. With members of assemble as hostages.
He entered the secretariat. The members were shocked seeing a creepy creature. As soon as he came in he took a gun and shot few of them. The other screamed and tried to escape. The whole assembly was a chaos. Outside the room the guards were positioned and outside that the souls were guarding and beyond them other souls were roaming among normal people and monitoring things there. Vetri took charge for negotiation. All the cops from the whole city were diverted here.
Meanwhile the souls in the prison started their work. They broke opened them prison. The prisoners were in the streets braking public and private properties, burning them. The whole city became similar to a war zone within half an hour. The first step of Amar's war was bigger than what other souls expected. They had no one to oppose them, because no one could and no one will.
Amar sat in speakers seat in the center of the assembly hall. He had pride in his face in spite of the sorrow he bore due to Sindhiya. Suddenly a cut formed in his chest, it opened up wide.

Maanvi and Adithya were standing outside a room, with the machine in front of them. Amar was lying inside the room with his chest wide open. He took a piece from the green radioactive crystal he had in his chest. He knew that his father used the remaining crystals he smuggled to run the machine. He dropped the crystal and energized the machine. As he thought, the portal opened. Maanvi and Adithya were shocked seeing this. But they managed their fear and entered in the other dimension.
It was dark and dusty. She was shocked seeing furniture in the other dimension. The floor was filled with leaves. They also saw some decomposed animals. These animals lacked their basic instincts, preys were roaming freely among predators. Suddenly they felt the presence of human soul.
"welcome , I knew you would come here", said a rotten soul.
"hi", said Amar calmly . while Maanvi and Adithya were shivering in fear.
"do you know me, who are you?", questioned Amar.
"everyone here know you", said the soul softly," and I'm.. what to say a mummy , in you language. I warned your soul in all aspects, but he never listened to me."
"so are there souls that didn't join his army?" questioned Amar.
"what do you think, every soul are evil and greedy like yours?", said the mummy soul.
"then you should help us stop him , help us to close the portals", requested Amar.
"why should I? This is humans problem. You created the portal you should close. Why should we clean your shit?", said the soul.
"I know why you won't help. A few hours ago I also had the same mind set. But at least tell me how to stop him." requested Amar.
The mummy kept its hand on Amar's chest and said." the third kind of soul has many powers than normal souls, one among them is they aren't afraid of humans. Like me talking to you now. And another power is, if a human initiates a communication with them. Like your father who after 6 long years on a fine day shed tears for Amar. If he was an ordinary soul he could have seen his father crying. But as he was the king of hell he could communicate back with you father. He used him to run a machine which you built. The mistake is yours and your soul's, the only one who could and should stop is you. Why in this hell should I do that", said the soul and pushed him away.
"we don't have time " stuttered Maanvi .
Without having any solution they moved ahead.

Before the initial stage of negotiation could finish, the 2500 prisoners almost evacuated quarter of the city. They were surprised when they could attack even after their death, their escape from the prison and the life after death almost unleashed the beast in them.
Amar was witnessing his plans executed in front of him. His work was to gather information from the soul among public and take decision based on that. He didn't want to kill people, for tonight. They planned to arrest the humans and the next day they would burn unwanted humans. They had certain criteria, filtering process based on which they would identify and kill unwanted humans, on such rules was to kill everyone above 60, and kids below 15 would spared to live.
When things were going smooth Amar heard the news about his body along with Maanvi and the commissioner has entered the secretariat from the dark dimension.
Maanvi ran to rescue the members while Adithya and Amar went to fight the soldiers. But they still had no idea about ending things. Amar and Adithya took position behind a door.
"don't kill any of the soldiers!", said Adithya.
"why , do you fear they would become souls and frighten you?" questioned Amar.
"no!, they did nothing wrong. They all are blackmailed by him. They are innocent", said Adithya.
"so what?, why shouldn't I kill?" questioned Amar," uncle don't see death as a punishment . Even after knowing what happens after death how can you think like that? Just remember if we don't kill they will kill you".
"kill me, why only me, wouldn't they kill you", screamed Adithya.
"no, they need me. My body will decompose in minutes if I die, due to the radioactive crystal in me. Then my soul will also die", said Amar.
"you will decompose " shocked Adithya.
"yeah, don't you know that? its basic. how do you think I live with radioactive material inside me? I'm technically a mobile nuclear power plant." said Amar and opened the door. Adithya was shocked seeing solders lined up with souls guarding them in front with Amar's soul in between them. Amar pulled Adithya behind him and stared at his soul.
In spite of these many people and souls and robot in the same place the whole room was dead silent. Adithya who couldn't tolerate it took his gun and shot Amar's soul. The bullet struck him, but he had no reaction. He took the bullet from his head and threw it. Seeing this, the souls around him laughed a loud along with Amar's soul.
Adithya was frustrated more and kept the gun on Amar's head, seeing this, the souls laughed more than before. Suddenly out of nowhere a soul appeared and caught Adithya's hand and threw him away. Amar kicked the soul and ran towards the other soul. He tightened his fist and stared shooting.
"catch him , don't kill him" said Amar's soul and moved in.
The guard dropped their weapons and attacked Amar. He fought back ferociously; he could attack the guards but couldn't even touch the souls. He fought for nearly half an hour and knocked 50 soldiers. But he was caught by the souls.
Maanvi tries and released few members but for her misfortune the members she released were souls which made her fall in their trap.
Amar walked through the assembly briskly and sat in the speaker's chair. He regained his pride. But he was surprised when he heard from a soul that Sindhiya was entering the secretariat. She escaped all the police checking and entered the building. Amar felt full filed. The pain he had was gone, when he saw her entering. She was escorted by souls, Amar was filled with emotions. He didn't felt this much happiness when he sat on the chair, or even when he entered this dimension. Now everything was with him, his loved one, the new world he imagined and no one to oppose him.
